Weiss Calls, Holds

Level 6 : 250/500, 500 ante

Oliver Weiss was in the cutoff facing a bet of 18,500 into a pot of around 23,000 from an opponent in the big blind. The board read {7-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{q-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and Weiss stuck his stack of 21,350 in. His opponent quickly called but was drawing with {8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}.

Weiss had {a-Spades}{a-Clubs} and the bullets held up on the {k-Clubs} river.

Kennedy's Run Comes to an End

Level 6 : 250/500, 500 ante

James Kennedy was left with last 6,600 and he moved all in from the small blind, having peeled {a-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}. Gavin Flynn woke up with {a-Clubs}{k-Spades} in the big and Kennedy was drawing dead on the turn of the {2-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{3-Hearts} board.

Easy Double for Kamal

Level 6 : 250/500, 500 ante

In a blind-versus-blind battle, Karim Kamal and James Kennedy ended up all in on the {6-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} flop. It seemed that the pot had grown to about 15,000 preflop and Kamal was able to spin for his remaining 19,100 when he flopped nothing less than the nuts. He was in a dream spot as his {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} was nearly bulletproof. Kennedy held {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} and he would need running jacks to win, but the {5-Spades} turn denied the miracle.

Carter Prevails Against Neilson Again

Level 6 : 250/500, 500 ante

Daniel Neilson made it 1,000 under the gun and he found three callers including Simon Carter on the button.

The {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{a-Hearts} flop was checked and Neilson fired a delayed continuation-bet of 3,150 on the {7-Clubs} turn. Only Carter matched the wager.

The {a-Diamonds} river double paired the board and both players quickly tapped the felt only to learn that they had both missed the flush draw. Carter had only {k-Hearts}{5-Hearts} but it was still enough to beat Neilson's {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}.

Gorr Shows the Nuts

Level 6 : 250/500, 500 ante

David Gorr bet 1,600 from the cutoff on a flop of {a-Spades}{8-Clubs}{3-Spades} and his opponent on the left called. The turn brought a {7-Spades} and a check from Gorr. The player on the button bet 2,500 and Gorr came back with 5,500.

That elicited a quick fold and Gorr showed {k-Spades}{9-Spades}.

Carter Forces Out Neilson

Level 6 : 250/500, 500 ante

Simon Carter checked the {7-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{7-Spades} flop from the small blind and Daniel Neilson fired 2,700 into 3,000 from early position. Carter called.

Carter let Neilson bet again on the {8-Hearts} turn, and Neilson made it 3,300. Carter, however, opted to check-raise to 11,000. Neilson matched the price.

The {k-Clubs} hit the river and Carter bet out 14,000, prompting a fold from his opponent.

Young Rips and Shows One

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

Justin Young was in middle position facing what looked to be a three-bet from the small blind to 4,200. Young moved all in for about 30,000 total effective and his opponent tank-folded.

Young flipped over the {7-Spades}.

"Ohh, look at this guy," Anthony Spinella said.

The players are on break again.
