"He Definitely Got One Through"

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante

With {j-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{j-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} on the felt, Angel Guillen checked in the small blind and Paul Tedeschi bet 8,200 after tanking a couple of minutes. Guillen responded with his own tank but ultimately folded.

"He definitely got one through," observed Martin Zamani with a smile.

Urbanovich Misses Draw, Still Hits Best Hand

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante

Dzmitry Urbanovich bet 2,000 from the small blind with {5-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{4-Clubs} on the table. His left-hand neighbor raised to 7,000 and Urbanovich called.

Both players somewhat reluctantly checked the {k-Clubs} turn as well as the {j-Hearts} river, and the big blind showed {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}. Urbanovich, however, turned a higher pair with {k-Clubs}{7-Clubs} and he raked in the pot.

Hui's Turn Barrel Does it

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante

Phil Hui was on the button and called a bet of 4,300 from the player in the small blind on {4-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{8-Spades}. The turn brought a {5-Diamonds} and Hui bet 13,000 when checked to, which won him the pot.

Scholten With a Cold Four-Bet Jam

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante

Niko Koop opened for 1,300 in middle position and a player on the button made it 4,000. Freek Scholten announced an all-in wager and cut down what looked like about 16,000. Nobody needed clarification though as both of his opponents quickly folded.

Luong Flops Perfectly

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante

David Luong eyed a preflop all-in wager from a player in the hijack, and then decided to match the 12,500 price out of the small blind. The big blind got out of the way.

Luong was behind with {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} against {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}, but that rapidly changed when the dealer exposed a flop of {10-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}, prompting a collective "wow" from the table.

The {2-Hearts} turn and {9-Diamonds} river changed nothing and Luong sent his opponent to the rail.

Firdawcy Jams on Nemeth

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante

Andras Nemeth raised to 1,300 from middle position and he found one caller before Hamza Firdawcy squeezed to 5,800 out of the small blind. Only Nemeth called.

The flop came down {q-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{8-Diamonds} and Firdawcy continued for 5,200. Nemeth called again.

The {8-Hearts} hit the turn and Firdawcy slid forward a pile of chips to cover Nemeth's remaining 20,600. Nemeth peeked at his cards again and then gave up.

Asked how much he had back, Higgs said 12 or 13. His opponent folded about 30 seconds later.

Ostby Shows One

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante

Bjorn Ostby checked a {4-Hearts}{3-Spades}{6-Hearts} flop in middle position and an opponent in the cutoff bet 3,000. Ostby made it 9,000, and they saw a {10-Clubs} that checked through. Ostby came out betting on the {3-Diamonds} river with 10,000. His opponent folded in short order.

Ostby showed the {q-Hearts}.
