Krost Gets Paid

Level 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

Sitting on the button, Travis Endersby had what looked like 2,100 in front of him with {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{a-Clubs} on the table. Tyron Krost raised to 5,100 out of the big blind and Endersby called.

The river came {8-Hearts} and Krost fired 5,600. Endersby tanked for well over a minute and then forced himself to pay the price. Krost, however, rolled over {10-Diamonds}{8-Spades} for a flopped straight, and Endersby mucked his inferior hand.

Haddad Bets Out Madsen

Level 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

On a {j-Spades}{5-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} flop, Majed Haddad checked from the small blind and his neighbor bet 350 into the pot, getting calls from Jan Suchanek and Jeff Madsen. Haddad check-raised to 1,400 and he found two callers as only Suchanek released his hand. The {10-Clubs} turn saw Haddad barrel for 2,250, leaving himself with 10,000. The big blind got out of the way and Madsen followed suit, allowing Haddad to claim the pot.

Pettersson First Casualty on Day 1c

Level 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

"Seat open on table eight," the dealer announced and the floorman walked over to see what had happened on a table that also includes Kitty Kuo and Hiroyuki Noda. The cards and full board were already showing as Jacob Morenos had knocked out Jan Pettersson.

On a board of {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{7-Spades}, Pettersson had flopped a straight with the {9-Spades}{8-Diamonds} but ended up second-best to the {7-Clubs}{6-Clubs} of Marenos.

Tsapazis Clips Jang

Level 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

Mo Jang was in the cutoff, firing 2,025 on the river of the {2-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{a-Clubs} when the action was picked up. Luke Tsapazis raised to 7,025 in position and Jang flicked in a 5,000 chip to match the price. Tsapazis promptly turned up {a-Hearts}{a-Spades} for a rivered full house and Jang sighed, mucking his hand.

Abdine Wins Small Pot Off Amiri

Level 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

Ehsan Amiri and Shivan Abdine can be found next to each other on the right hand side of the balcony and both just met in a limped battle of the blinds. Amiri check-called a bet of 100 on the {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} flop and the {5-Spades} turn was checked through. After the {q-Hearts} river, Amiri bet 250 and a raise to 1,000 won the pot for Abdine.

Fine Start for Madsen

Level 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

Picking up the action on the {8-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} turn, Jeff Madsen checked under the gun and Jan Suchanek fired 1,500 into 1,900 from the button. Madsen called.

The {9-Hearts} hit the felt and Madsen checked again. Suchanek bet 3,000 and Madsen thought for a moment then called. Suchanek flipped over {6-Spades}{5-Spades} for trip sixes but Madsen had him beat, holding a stronger kicker to his six with {k-Clubs}{6-Clubs}.

Peters Loses Some

Level 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

Joining the action on the {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{a-Spades} turn, Tobias Peters checked out of the blinds and his sole remaining opponent made it 800 to go into a pot of 900, which Peters called. The {10-Diamonds} fell on the river and Peters checked once more, then faced a bet of 2,000 and sent his cards into the muck.
