Bayley and O'Dwyer Chop

Level 6 : 250/500, 500 ante

Nick Pupillo and Lawrence Bayley checked from the blinds on {8-Spades}{4-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} and Steve O'Dwyer bet 1,000. Pupillo check-raised to 3,500 and Bayley called. O'Dwyer paused for a while and then called as well.

Pupillo and Bayley checked again on the {4-Hearts} turn and O'Dwyer fired 4,500 in position. Pupillo quickly laid his hand down and Bayley called.

The river was the {6-Clubs} and Bayley checked to O'Dwyer who took about a minute and then pushed forward a big bet of around 40,000. Bayley snap-called and they learned that the last two betting rounds didn't really matter in the end. O'Dwyer held {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts} and Bayley showed {q-Spades}{8-Clubs} for a chop.

Badziakouski Doubles Up

Level 6 : 250/500, 500 ante
Mikita Badziakouski
Mikita Badziakouski

Mikita Badziakouski was having a double up counted out by the dealer holding {k-Spades}{q-Spades} on a {q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{2-Spades}{9-Spades}{a-Spades} board.

According to the table, Badziakouski's opponent check-called the flop, check-raised the turn and then shoved the river with {9-}{9-} for a set, only to be met by the flush of Badziakouski.

He now sits on just under 90,000.

Yotsushika Adds Another Elimination

Level 6 : 250/500, 500 ante

Kazuhiko Yotsushika opened from the button and the player in the big blind three-bet all in for around 20,000. Yotsushika called putting his opponent at risk.

Kazuhiko Yotsushika: {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
All-in Player: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}

The all-in player was ahead and stayed that way on the {9-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{8-Diamonds} flop and {6-Hearts} turn. However, the {j-Diamonds} river gave Yotsushika a straight and sent his opponent to the rail.

O'Dwyer Bites Into Greenwood's Stack

Level 6 : 250/500, 500 ante

With just under 35,000 in the pot and {2-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{7-Hearts} on the felt, two heavyweights clashed in early positions. Luc Greenwood checked to Steve O'Dwyer who fired 30,000, leaving himself with around 25,000. Greenwood played virtually the same stack as O'Dwyer, and he tanked for several minutes until Lawrence Bayley called the clock.

Greenwood was given a minute to finalize his decision, and he flicked in one chip when he was midway through his allotted time. O'Dwyer turned up {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs} for nothing less than the nuts, and Greenwood had to give up the required 30,000.

Stevan Chew: {k-Spades}{q-Spades}
Philipp Kaempf: {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

There was an ace on the {a-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{8-Spades} flop and the {q-Clubs} turn left Chew drawing dead. The river was the {9-Hearts} and he was eliminated, with Kaempf moving up to around average stack.

Dejan Boskovic moved all in for 5,750 and was called by Philipp Kaempf on the button and Kazuhiko Yotsushika in the big blind. The remaining two active players checked the {q-Hearts}{8-Spades}{5-Clubs} flop and a bet of Yotsushika on the {6-Hearts} turn forced a fold from Kaemof.

Dejan Boskovic: {q-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Kazuhiko Yotsushika: {a-Diamonds}{5-Spades}

The river was a blank {6-Diamonds} and Boskovic tripled up.

Kuo More Than Doubles

Level 6 : 250/500, 500 ante

Following a limp from early position, Artur Koren raised to 1,500 in the hijack and Rory Young called on the button. Kitty Kuo peeled a fine hand in the small blind and she shoved her last 3,825. Only Koren matched the price and Kuo found herself in great shape, contesting a pot with a lot of dead money.

Kuo: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Koren: {3-Spades}{3-Hearts}

A safe board of {5-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{k-Clubs}{7-Clubs} propelled Kuo to a win and she improved to 20 big blinds.
