Three players saw a flop of 9♠7♦6♥ with a sizeable 50,000 chips in the middle already.
Ehsan Amiri checked out of the small blind, as did the player in middle position. Kahle Burns was on the button and bet 12,500, getting two folds.
"Set?" asked Amiri.
"It was a good flop for me," replied Burns.
"I mean, what kind of flop is that?" continued Amiri a short while later.
"A fucking beautiful one, that's what it was," said Burns.
Ethan Erdeljac opened to 2,500 from early position and Katy Lo defended the big blind.
The 6♦4♠5♣ flop was checked by both to the 9♥ turn.
Lo bet 4,500 and was called by Erdeljac, taking them to the 10♣ river.
Lo check-called a 10,000 bet by Erdeljac, and he tabled 10♠10♦ for a set of tens. Lo mucked her hand, passing a sizeable pot to Erdeljac.
Jianwen Gao was already all in from the small bind for his remaining 57,600 with Timo Hettinger covering him in the big blind.

Hettinger was looking for an ace, but Gao held on the 5♥9♣9♦J♠8♠ runout to secure him the double and keep his seat in the main event.
On the adjacent table, was on the button against Amin Riyazati in middle position. Players were already on the river looking at the A♠7♥4♣8♦J♦ flop. Spano was all in and at risk, and Riyazati had him covered.

It was a brutal end for Spano as his set didn't hold up against Riyazati's set of eights.
Alex Lynskey opened from middle position and Hans Dorn three-bet to 6,500 on the button. Alex Lynskey four-bet to around 25,000 and Dorn was all in for his remaining 39,700. There was no hesitation from Lynskey and the players went to showdown.

Button was ahead, and held on the 4♦9♠6♠ flop. There was little sweat on the 3♥ turn and the Q♣ river sweetened the double up for Dorn.
Despite losing the hand, Lynskey has managed to spin up his stack in the first few levels of Day 2, as he entered the day with just under starting.
After a couple of consecutive opens from late positions which saw no action, Martin Finger went in for another pot.
Finger opened to 2,400 from middle position and saw Ben Turner call from the cutoff and Daniel Laidlaw defend the small blind.
The J♦9♥5♣ flop was checked by Laidlaw and Finger, with Turner betting 3,500. Laidlaw called along with Finger, taking them to the 8♠ turn.
Action checked to the J♥ river and Laidlaw checked. Finger bet out 15,000 and it took a while for Turner to give up his hand. Laidlaw also mucked his hand after around 30-seconds, passing more chips to Finger.
