Eric Assadourian = Bubble Boy

Eric Assadourian
Eric Assadourian
Eric Assadourian was already the short stack of the tournament but was virtually down to the felt after he ran {A-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} into the {A-Spades}{A-Clubs} of Michael Russell.

Next hand he was all in blind holding {3-Clubs}{8-Clubs} and Emanuel Seal made the call with pocket fours. The board bricked out for Assadourian and he unfortunately becomes the "bubble boy"!

Andrew Topakas Eliminated

A short-stacked Andrew Topakas made a move at the blinds and antes pre-flop with {K-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} but ran into the {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs} of Tony Dunst who made an easy call.

The board of {7-Spades}{5-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs} gave Dunst a straight and eliminated Topakas from the tournament.

With this elimination we are now officially on the "bubble". The next unlucky player to be eliminated will be going home empty handed, while the remaining 18 players will be guaranteed a payout of AU$5,260.

Pedley Doubles Through Bach

David "Gunslinger" Bach
David "Gunslinger" Bach
On a board showing {6-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{6-Clubs}, David Bach passed the first action to Michael Pedley who led out with a 4,000 bet. Bach then check-raised to 12,000 putting Pedley all in and Pedley made the call.

Bach: {5-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}
Pedley: {A-Hearts}{8-Clubs}

The turn brought the {7-Clubs} giving Bach some additional outs, but the {2-Diamonds} on the river sealed the hand for Pedley who doubled through to 45,000 in chips. Bach was left with 60,000 after the hand.

Anna Doubles Again

Anna Wroblewski has just doubled up once again, this time through David Steicke. Anna had her chips in with {A-Diamonds}{J-Spades} and goaded Steicke into a call by saying "He keeps pushing me around!" Steicke took a shot at eliminating Anna by making the call and showed {8-Clubs}{10-Clubs}.

A ten in the window brought "ooooohs" from the table until the rest of the flop revealed T-Q-K and Anna had flopped the nuts to jump up to 38,000 in chips.

Kollmann Doubles Through Saul

Erich Kollmann raised it up from the cutoff to 5,000 and Kevin "BeL0WaB0Ve" Saul bumped it up to 15,000 from the button. Kollmann made the call and the two players saw a flop of {K-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{J-Spades}.

With Kollmann first to act post-flop he shoved the last of his 11,000 chips into the middle and Saul made the call.

Kollmann: {A-Spades}{9-Spades}
Saul: {A-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}

Remarkably with both players drawing, Saul held the lead with his ace-queen high. The turn was {A-Diamonds} both players had paired up. The river brings the {Q-Spades} and Saul made two pair but it's not enough to beat the nut flush of Kollman and he doubles up to 53,000 chips, as Saul slides to 49,000.
