Brian Arbaugh raised to 3,500 from under the gun and Horace Thomas called from middle position. Tyler Payne raised to 13,500 from the button and the blinds got out of the way. Arbaugh was quick to follow into the muck and Thomas joined him after a moment of thought. Payne picked up the pot to move about 90,000 on the day.

Payne defeated Raymond Leone in heads-up play back in February to win the $2,000 Main Event at the 2022 Winter Open here at bestbet Jacksonville.

Chau Looks Up Carroll; Slucker Doubles

Level 10 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Action was heads-up with a big pot in the middle and {7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} on the board when action checked to Thomas Carroll and he fired 13,500. Chanthou Chau took just a moment to call from two seats over and the player on the button got out of the way. Carroll turned over {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for the diamond flush and Chau nodded before he tossed the losing card in the muck.

Elsewhere in the room, Ron Slucker got it in with {3-Spades}{3-Diamonds} for 27,000 and he was looked up by an opponent with {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}. The board ran out {9-Spades}{4-Spades}{10-Spades}{3-Hearts}{4-Hearts} and Slucker turned a set of threes to secure the double-up.

Carroll Takes From Fiorenza With River Bet

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Action was heads-up with over 20,000 in the pot and {k-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{10-Hearts} on the board when Thomas Carroll sat back to consider his options. After he counted out his chips and weighed the decision, he slid out 13,000.

"Do you have me beat?" Carroll asked his opponent Toni Fiorenza in the big blind. "I can take the bet back and check if you have me beat."

Fiorenza smiled and folded her cards.

"I was going to check," she said. "I had a king."

Carroll tossed the winning hand in the muck and dragged the pot to get some of his chips back.
