Leo Taffe opened to 160,000 and action folded to Justin Young who moved all in, covering Taffe. The other players got out of the way and Taffe made the call to put himself at risk.

On a heads-up river board that read 2♥2♦K♠8♥2♠, Stephen Song was first to act and he bet 600,000 in the already swelled pot of 800,000.

The action was then on Kevin Berthelsen, who then weighed his options for a bit.

After using a time bank, he made the call, at which point Song showed 8♦8♠ for a big full house, eights full of deuces. while Berthelson flashed the 8♣ for deuces full of eights. Song was then awarded the large pot to boost his stack up to 3,600,000 while Berthelsen was left with just 900,000.

Vanier checked the J♣6♦5♥ flop which prompted Gugliuzza to bet 300,000. Vanier raised to 900,000 and called when his opponent jammed for around 2,200,000.

Vanier was ahead with his bottom two pair and the A♠ turn and Q♦ river ensured his hand remained best.

Sundiata DeVore opened to 160,000 under-the-gun and action folded around to Ivan Galinec in the small blind who then decided to just rip his entire stack of 2,735,000 into the pot.

Johann Ibanez in the big blind thought about it for a second but ended up folding but then DeVore made the call, putting himself at risk.

"Well, that's not what you wanted to see!" Tablemate Stephen Song joked to DeVore, who nodded in agreement.

But his tune quickly changed when the flop came 10♣10♠K♠ to give him the lead.

"Now that's what I want to see!" he said as the board ran out 7♠3♦ to secure his victory for the huge double-up while Galinec was now the one left short.
