O'Donnell Doubles Thru Jackson

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Shaun O'Donnell
Shaun O'Donnell

Shaun O'Donnell opened for 28,000 under-the-gun and it folded around to David Jackson in the small blind, who announced he was all-in, having O'Donnell well covered.

O'Donnell tanked until the clock was called, admitting he was waiting for someone else to bust out to make the money bump. Before his time expired, he called all-in for 400,000 total, tabling pocket Jacks. He was ahead of Jackson's pocket tens.

The board came {a-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{4-Spades} and changed nothing. O'Donnell doubled up.

With the elimination of Elan Chabi, Table 4 was broken and these players were scattered among the remaining three tables.

Markov Ends the Comeback of Chabi

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Elan Chabi hit the 200,000 mark before being derailed by Nikolai Markov in a classic flip situation. Chabi turned over ace-queen and found himself in a reasonable spot versus the pocket jacks of Markov.

The flop came down with a jack in the window, giving Markov a set of jacks and Chabi failed to catch up as he was eliminated in 28th place.

Chabi Lands in Shambles, Fights Back

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Elan Chabi
Elan Chabi

Elan Chabi was sitting in the small blind and had 4,000 that was automatically all-in. He saw the board roll out {q-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{6-Diamonds} and Michael Vela pushed Joe Reddick off the pot.

Chabi tabled {k-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for king-high and was surprised to see Vela tabled {10-Spades}{9-Spades} for not a thing. The {3-Spades} completed the board and Chabi took down the pot.

The very next hand Chabi moved his stack into the middle from the button and Jon Borenstein called, putting him at risk.

Elan Chabi: {k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Jon Borenstein: {k-Hearts}{4-Hearts}

A {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} board peeled off and Chabi secured another pot, doubling through Borenstein.

Again just two hands later Chabi moved his stack into the middle and this time Reddick took a shot at eliminating him. Chabi turned over {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs} and Reddick showed {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts}. The board came down {8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{q-Spades} and again for the third time in four hands Chabi won his all-in.

Procopio Doubles Thru Chabi; Barringer Makes Good Call

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Lucio Procopio
Lucio Procopio

On the last hand of the level on Table 3, Elan Chabi opened for 20,000 under-the-gun, then Lucio Procopio jammed for 294,000 from the cutoff. Chabi called, tabling {a-Spades}{j-Spades}. He was dominated by Procopio's {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}.

The runout of {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} sent the pot to Procopio and left Chabi short with only about 10,000.

On Table 1, the board read {j-Hearts}{8-Spades}{7-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} and Matthew Silberzweig bet 300,000. Sean Barringer tanked into the break before calling, tabling {a-}{j-}. Silberzweig mucked and Barringer took the pot.

Faisal Siddiqui

Faisal Siddiqui had {9-}{8-} and made his straight on the river, but Hye Park had pocket sixes and had flopped a full house on the {7-}{7-}{6-} flop.

Borenstein Takes Out Two; Weng Also Gone

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Philip Chin & David Stefanski
Philip Chin & David Stefanski

Jonathan Borenstein is up to more than 1.3 million after a double-elimination.

He opened, then Philip Chin, who was the shorter stack, moved in, followed by David Stefanski, who also moved in. Borenstein called and the hands were tabled:

Borenstein: {a-}{k-}
Chin: {k-}{j-}
Stefanski: {a-}{j-}

The board ran out Ten-high and Borenstein scooped it all.

Chin finished in 33rd place and Stefanski finished 32nd. Both will collect $6,196.

Over on Table 2, Bin Weng was also felted, finishing 31st for $6,196.
