Palma Catches Runner-Runner to Survive, Much to Dentale's Displeasure

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Nicholas Palma
Nicholas Palma

"Is there a seat open at your table?" Nick Palma called out to Mike Dentale as he moved all in for 8,000 from the big blind. The small blind called to put him at risk.

Nick Palma: KQ All in
Opponent: AJ

"Please let Nicky P bust and come to my table," Dentale pleaded as he came over to watch the action.

"I have the f**king grim reaper over my shoulder," Palma added as the flop came 953. The small blind hit top pair on the A turn, but Palma made a flush on the 10 river to win the pot and double up.

"What a lucky f**ker. You're backers will be happy you saved a buy-in," Dentale told him.

"I don't have any deals," Palma replied.

Kalinin Doubles Then Vanishes

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Anton Kalinin jammed for the last 3,800 preflop and Mike Dentale called after some table chat, then asked his opponent if he had a pair.

"I have a low pocket pair," Kalinin said and tabled the 99.

Dentale was behind with the 66 and told the dealer "punish him, he said low pocket pair".

However, the board ran out JJ4K3 and Kalinin held.

The double was, however, short-lived as he busted soon after.

"Mike built this place. Like Babe Ruth built Yankee Stadium, Mike built the Borgata," Nick Palma shouted out.

"First f**king truth you've ever told," Mike Dentale yelled back.

"Down three million in poker, five million in crypto, but he can afford it, he says," Palma added.

Meanwhile, Joel Mitchell and an opponent went to the turn on a board of 3968 with around 20,000 in the pot when Mitchell moved all in from the button. His opponent called for 50,000 from middle position and turned over KK, but Mitchell showed 99 for a set. The river was the 4 and Mitchell let out a few big fist pumps as the big pot was pushed his way, boosting his stack up past 200,000.

Dylan Smith recently joined the field.

Kat Khaterzai reraised preflop with tossing out a T-5,000 chip and had a total stack of around 12,500, which she then called off once Maurice Hawkins pushed all-in.

Kat Khaterzai: 1010 All in
Maurice Hawkins: AK

The AK9 flop gave Hawkins the top two pair while Khaterzai had the flush draw to go with the remaining two tens in the deck.

Five players went to a flop of QJK where the hijack bet 2,000. Wesley Shi called in the big blind, as did Joel Mitchell in early position and Tanupat Punjarojanakul in middle position.

The hijack bet another 4,500 on the 9 turn, and only Mitchell called this time. Mitchell checked again on the J river, and his opponent slowed down and checked.
