Level 26 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Russ Dunlevy limped in from the small blind with A10 and Nicholas Verderamo checked back J10.

The flop came 954 and Dunlevy checked to Verderamo, who bet 80,000. Dunlevy called, and the 8 fell on the turn.

Verderamo then bet another 300,000, and Dunlevy tanked for a minute before folding.

Sean Ruane Eliminated in 10th Place ($18,150)

Level 26 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Sean Ruane
Sean Ruane

Sean Ruane raised to 900,000 on the button before Carlos Chadha moved all in from the big blind. Ruane took a peek over at the outer table and tossed in a big bank before he committed his last 135,000.

Sean Ruane: KJ All in
Carlos Chadha: AQ

"Pretty happy with that," Ruane said once Chadha revealed his cards, but the A88 flop left him drawing only to running cards as Chadha hit two pair. The J turn gave Ruane some hope, but he missed the 3 river and was eliminated in 10th place.

The remaining nine players are drawing for seats at the final table.

"It's Like Lord of the Flies"

Level 26 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Maxwell Young raised to 180,000 in the cutoff before Ricky Guan moved all in for 800,000 in the big blind. Young folded. "This time it's big enough," Guan said as he showed JJ.

Mike Dentale then moved all in for 715,000 on the button and got no callers. The next hand, Andrew Porter raised to 575,000 in the small blind, leaving only a few chips behind, and Young gave up his big blind.

"It's like Lord of the Flies," Dentale said.

No More Flops in Sight

Level 26 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

There was only one monotone flop on 1093 when Maxwell Young bet 130,000 and Russ Dunlevy folded.

Young's next raise to 180,000 on the button won the blinds uncontested and he showed the AA.

Andrew Porter then used a time bank first to act before he raised to 160,000 with 630,000 behind and claimed the blinds.

With the 10 exposed, Young raised to 180,000 and forced folds all around.

Ricky Guan then used two time banks on the button before he raised to 245,000 for half of his stack. Both blinds let go.

In the next hand, Guan raised to 345,000 because that was his next half stack and took it down again.

Hand of the Tournament? Chadha Overbets Turn and River

Level 26 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Nicholas Verderamo
Nicholas Verderamo

In a limped pot between the blinds, Nicholas Verderamo bet 80,000 on the A74 flop and Carlos Chadha called.

The 7 turn paired the board, and Verderamo checked. Chadha bet 700,000 into a pot of 410,000, putting Verderamo in the blender. After using a time chip, Verderamo called.

The 3 river saw Verderamo check once more. Another overbet came from Chadha, and he sized up to 2,400,000.

Verderamo had 2,830,000 behind, and chucked in a time chip. He eventually settled on a fold, returning his A6 to the dealer. Chadha got away with one, as he had just 63 in the hole.

Young Shoves on Porter

Level 26 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Andrew Porter limped in from the small blind before Maxwell Young raised to 240,000 in the big blind. Porter called, and they went heads-up to the J45 flop.

Young then bet 185,000, and Porter raised to 390,000. Young called, and the 7 fell on the turn.

Porter then bet 250,000, and Young called once more. Porter slowed down and checked the 5 river, and Young bet 700,000, enough to put Porter all in. He quickly folded, and Young took the pot to move up past 5,000,000.
