Christopher Ackerman opened to 60,000 under the gun before Giorgi Arveladze three-bet to 155,000 on the button, and Ackerman called.
Both the 10♦8♥5♥ flop and the J♠ turn quickly checked through.
On the Q♥ river, Ackerman checked a final time to Arveladze who tossed out a bet of 175,000. After a minute's tank, Ackerman put in calling chips, only to be shown the A♦K♥ of Arveladze, who went runner-runner to make broadway.
For the best part of three years, it felt like Bin Weng was everywhere.
The Pennsylvania poker crusher had already established himself as one of the most consistent tournament grinders in the country, but from 2023 onwards his career went into overdrive. Millions of dollars in scores, major titles and seemingly endless deep runs followed as Weng became one of the hottest players on the tournament circuit.
The volume never really slowed, either. After banking $6,663,696 in live tournament cashes during a remarkable 2023, he added another $519,146 in 2024 and $945,780 in 2025. Then, towards the end of last year, it all came to a halt.
Health complications forced Weng away from the tables for around seven months, leaving one of poker's busiest tournament regulars watching from home instead of competing.
PokerNews caught up with Weng during the Borgata Summer Poker Open, where he's among the final three tables of the $650 Super Deep 6-Max. The event attracted 401 entries, creating a $228,570 prize pool, with $41,150 awaiting the winner. Thursday's action plays down to the final table before the remaining players return on Friday for a livestreamed finale on the BetMGM Poker YouTube channel.
Thomas Cannuli moved all in from the small blind and Ryan Syrko called for 270,000 in the big blind.

"If I win this hand, I win the tournament," Rodriguez said as he was looking for an ace to survive. The J♦Q♠J♥ flop gave him outs to counterfeit Liang's pair, but she held up through the 5♣ turn and 7♣ river to send Rodriguez to the rail.
Jose Wong limped in the small blind before Christopher Ackerman jammed from the big blind as the covering stack. Wong confirmed there were no no active all ins at the other tables before calling off his 370,000 stack.

Wong successfully set the trap, but Ackerman held live cards. The K♦ window card was a scary one for Wong, but it was followed by the 10♥10♦ to give him trips. The A♥A♦ was overkill for Wong who made aces-full to secure the double.
Mario Rodriguez moved all in for 200,000 from under the gun and Tanupat Punjarojanakul called in the big blind.

"Come on, deuce, where you at?" Rodriguez said going to the flop, which had not one but two deuces on K♠2♥2♣. The rest of the board ran out 7♠3♥, and Rodriguez doubled up with his trips.
"Duck season, baby!" he yelled out.
Mario Rodriguez moved all in for his last 105,000 on the button and Tanupat Punjarojanakul called in the cutoff.

Rodriguez hit top pair on the 6♦2♥10♠ flop, then improved to trips on the 10♣ turn. The river was the Q♣ and he doubled up his short stack.
