Bernardo Soares raised to 350,000 in the cutoff, Matheus Grazziotin three-bet to 1,100,000 in the big blind with A♦4♣, and Soares folded J♠6♠.
Diones Lopes then raised to 320,000 under the gun with 7♦7♣, and Alen Fillipi defended A♣J♠ in the big blind.
Both players checked the K♣Q♦4♦ flop. The 10♠ turn gave Fillipi the nut straight, and he led out for 450,000. Lopes, though, quickly folded.
Matheus Grazziotin kicked the action off with a raise to 320,000 from under the gun, picking up calls from Bernardo Soares on the button and Ramiro Araujo in the big blind.
The action checked through on the A♠10♣4♥ flop, and again on the 5♥ turn.
The 2♠ completed the board, and once again, all three players checked.
Araujo flipped over Q♦5♦, Grazziotin tabled the winning J♠J♥, and Soares mucked his 8♥8♣.
Alen Fillipi raised to 320,000 in middle position before Bernardo Soares picked up K♠K♥ in the small blind and three-bet to 1,300,000.
Action went on Pedro Padilha in the big blind, who four-bet to 2,500,000. Fillipi folded 8♠8♣, but Soares then moved all in. Padilha quickly folded K♣Q♣.
Alen Fillipi opened to 325,000 from the cutoff, before calling when Gregory Fabião set him all in from the big blind.
Alen Fillipi: A♠A♣
Gregory Fabião: K♠K♦
A very clean 2♠7♣10♠2♦6♣ runout saw the aces hold with no drama, earning Fillipi a full double up.
Alen Fillipi three-bet to 900,000 on the button, Gregory Fabiao moved all in for 3,600,000 under the gun, and Fillipi called.
Gregory Fabiao: Q♥Q♦
Alen Fillipi: A♠K♦
Fabiao needed to hold on in the classic race situation, and his queens stayed in the lead through the 9♣6♥5♥4♣J♥ board to earn him a double up.
Martin Kabrhel kicked the action off with a raise to 320,000 from middle position, before facing resistance from chip leader Diones Lopes. Lopes three-bet to 660,000 from the hijack, which saw Kabrhel respond with a four-bet shove for 3,300,000. Diones called immediately, putting Kabrhel at risk.
Martin Kabrhel: A♣10♦
Diones Lopes: A♠K♦
There was no help for Kabrhel on the 6♥5♠4♣ flop, but the 2♥ turn did offer some chop opportunities.
Alas, the 8♥ river was unforthcoming, confirming Kabrhel's elimination in ninth place.
Gregory Fabiao limped in from the small blind with 10♥9♣ and Bernardo Soares checked back K♠5♦.
The flop came A♦Q♥4♦ and Fabiao led out for 160,000. Soares called, and the K♥ fell on the turn.
Fabiao then bet 500,000, and Soares again called. The river was the 10♦ and Fabiao bet another 1,000,000. Soares then moved all in, and Fabiao quickly folded.
Ramiro Araujo opened to 320,000 from middle position with A♥3♥, and Martin Kabrhel responded with a three-bet shove for 2,600,000 with A♠K♦.
The action folded back to Araujo, who returned his cards to the dealer.
Pedro Padilha raised to 375,000 in middle position and Diones Lopes called with Q♥Q♣ in the small blind.
Padilha continued for 275,000 on the 3♥2♥3♠ flop, and Lopes raised to 675,000. Padilha called, and the 5♣ fell on the turn.
Lopes then bet 800,000 and Padilha again called. The river was the 8♣ and Lopes bet 1,300,000. Padilha took a moment before folding A♥5♥, and Lopes took down the early big pot to extend his chip lead.
