Gregory Fabião kicked the action off with a raise to 425,000 from the cutoff holding A♣8♥. Bernardo Soares responded with a three-bet shove from the button for 2,800,000. Pedro Padilha then also moved all in, putting his 7,900,000 stack to work.

The rest of the table folded, and the cards were flipped over.

The J♥10♠6♣ flop offered Soares a couple of extra outs, but the 2♠ turn was not one of them.

Araujo then bet 160,000 and Soares called. The turn was the K♥ and Araujo bet another 750,000. Soares again called, and the 7♦ fell on the river.

Araujo had improved to a straight and shoved all in for 3,400,000. Soares took a minute before folding his ace-high, and Araujo took the pot.
