Huostila shot ahead as he paired on the Q♥7♠J♦ flop. The A♦ turn upgraded Lund to a higher pair, however, and Huostila could not hit the 8♣ river.
He was eliminated in 16th place and was the first player to depart from the final two tables.
Edd-Christian Gerhardsen moved in his stack of 515,000 preflop, and Magnus Pukk called him with a covering stack.

Guillermo Gordo raised to 40,000 under the gun. Monica Vaka then three-bet to 120,000 on the button, and Martin Rasch called all in for 60,000 in the big blind. Gordo got his 2♦2♣ out of the pot as Rasch and Vaka showed down.

Asgeir Lund opened from the button before Runar Runarsson jammed in his stack of 510,000 from the small blind. Lund snap-called, just as he had said he would do after folding to Runarsson's previous jam.

Runarsson had a good lead with his ladies, and Lund received no help on the 8♣2♣9♦ flop. The 7♥ turn gave the chipleader a gutshot straight draw, however, and it was completed when the 10♦ river hit the board.
The table could only laugh as Lund seemed unstoppable. Meanwhile, a bewildered Runarsson spent a few minutes in his seat before he went up to collect his payout.
Preflop, Paul Solovjev got his stack of 460,000 in the middle, being looked up by Asgeir Lund in the small blind.

Solovjev's ducks remained ahead on the 7♥3♣9♣ turn, but Lund's big slick struck on the K♦ turn. His top pair remained best on the 8♠ river, seeing him eliminate yet another player and cross the three-million mark, over four times the average stack.
Fredrik Kaarvall open-jammed his final 285,000 in middle position. It then folded to Kai Tiainen in the big blind, who called.

Kaarvall flopped a set on 5♠8♠6♠. The 7♦ turn brought some chop outs, but the 4♠ river made Tiainen a flush to secure the elimination of the final Swede in the tournament.
Erik Sonsteby open-jammed his stack of 115,000 from the hijack. The action folded to Jo Andersen in the big blind, who eyed the all-in before making the call.

Andersen paired his king on the 7♥6♥K♥ flop. No chop was possible after the J♠ turn, and the 8♠ river did not bring Sonsteby his desired ace. Sonsteby took his exit in 23rd place while Andersen joined the seven-figure club.
Chipleader Asgeir Lund raised to 35,000 under the gun. It folded to Geir Wold on the button, who moved all in for 335,000. Lund quickly called without asking for a count, and the players tabled their cards.
