Lindstrom Gets a Massive Double Off Palm

Level 20 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Fredrik Lindstrom raised to 225,000 under the gun, Robin Palm potted to 750,000 in the small blind, and Lindstrom called.

The flop came K93 and Palm bet 1,650,000. Lindstrom tanked for a minute before calling to the Q turn, where Palm moved all in. Lindstrom quickly called for 1,300,000.

Palm had AAJ8, while Lindstrom showed AKJ10 for a straight. The river was the 5 and Lindstrom doubled up.

At the same time at another table, Andriy Lyubovetskiy was all in for 400,000 and up against Paul Haus.

Joachim Haraldstad Eliminated in 21st Place (€8,540)

Tobias Andersen raised to 400,000 in the cutoff, Joachim Haraldstad reraised to 1,200,000 in the hijack, and Andersen called.

Haraldstad checked the 1052 flop and Andersen bet enough to put him all in. Haraldstad took a minute before calling for 100,000.

The board ran out 46 and Haraldstad finished with just a pair of deuces while Anderson took the pot with a pair of tens to send Haraldstad to the rail.

Robin Palm put in a raise to 400,000 in the small blind and Danyil Zaremba called in the big blind, as did Hans Thumann in the hijack.

The flop came Q47 and Palm bet 700,000. Zaremba quickly folded, but Thumann tanked for several minutes before moving all in for 2,100,000. Palm snap-called.

Thumann had run into Palm's aces as the 2 turn and A river improved Palm to a set to earn him the big pot and send Thumann to the rail.

Haraldstad Hits the River Against Joentausta

Aku Joentausta bet 225,000 from middle position on a flop of Q73 and Joachim Haraldstad called in the small blind.

The turn was the 4 and Haraldstad moved all in for 500,000. Joentausta snap-called.

Joentausta showed AQ75 for two pair, while Haraldstad had A543. The river was the 2 and Haraldstad spiked a straight to win the pot and double up.

Varonen Flops "Quads", Then Doubles on the River

Level 20 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Lauri Varonen raised to 240,000 in the hijack and Andriy Lyubovetskiy called under the gun after limping in.

The flop came A710 and Varonen potted to 680,000. Lyubovetskiy called and the 6 fell on the turn. Lyubovetskiy then moved all in and Varonen called for 145,000.

"I have quads," Varonen said, showing AAA2 for top set. Lyubovetskiy had J988 for a turned straight, but the 7 fell on the river to give Varonen a straight and the double up.

"Quads is better than a straight, anyway," Taago Tamm said.
