Do Makes Two Sets to Triple

Level 16 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Anh Do
Anh Do

With around 450,000 in the pot on a flop of 1082, Anh Do moved all in for 350,000 under the gun and Artur Teshaev called on the button, as did big blind Tom-Aksel Bedell.

Teshaev and Bedell checked down the A turn and 4 river and Bedell showed A952 for two pair. Do, though, showed 101088, having flopped a set with both of his pairs, and Teshaev mucked to surrender the triple up to Do.

Filip Lovric
Filip Lovric

Filip Aleksic was in the small blind and reraised to 330,000. Youness Barakat called in middle position, but Filip Lovric moved all in for 905,000 in the hijack. Aleksic then reshoved for 2,170,000.

"This is very upsetting," Barakat said as he tanked for a few minutes.

"Everybody is trapping. You know what they have," Petersen said before Barakat eventually folded.

Filip Lovric: AAQ6 All in
Filip Aleksic: KJ109

Lovric was ahead with his aces and improved to a full house on the Q333A board to earn the double up.

"What a hand," Petersen added.

Teshaev Busts Kronwitter on the Bubble

Level 16 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Jonas Kronwitter
Jonas Kronwitter

Jonas Kronwitter raised to 85,000 under the gun and was called by Artur Teshaev in the hijack, Tom-Aksel Bedell on the button, as blinds Anh Do and Aki Vihikainen.

"I can have a big stack again," Kronwitter said as the flop came A66. All five players checked and the A fell on the turn.

Kronwitter then moved all in for 185,000 and only Teshaev called. Teshaev showed AJ1010 for trip aces and Kronwitter already tossed KQ10Xx into the muck before the 3 completed the board on the river as he was eliminated on the money bubble.

Fredrik Lindstrom
Fredrik Lindstrom

Heads-up on a flop of Q63, Fredrik Lindstrom bet 85,000 from the cutoff and Ragnar Toompere raised to 250,000 on the button. Lindstrom then moved all in and Toompere took a minute before calling for 800,000 more.

Ragnar Toompere: AKQ5 All in
Fredrik Lindstrom: A542

Toompere was ahead with top pair, while Lindstrom had a straight draw. The 5 turn improved Lindstrom to his straight and left Toompere needing to fill up on the river to survive, but he missed the 3 river and was sent to the rail a few spots off the money.

Igor Pihela was also eliminated recently as the field reached the money bubble.

"Alex, I don't like folding either," Barakat told tablemate Alexander Petersen after the hand.

"That's okay, more chips for Alex," Dominykas Karmazinas added.

Petersen Bluffs the Table, Barakat Can't Bluff Him

Level 14 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Alexander Petersen
Alexander Petersen

More than 1,000,000 was already in the pot as Youness Barakat and Alexander Petersen went to the river on a completed board of A4910Q.

Barakat then moved all in from the small blind, having Petersen's remaining 700,000 covered. "Why do I hit the flush? How are you bluffing?" Petersen said as he tanked for a few minutes.

"If I fold and you show a bluff, I won't be able to sleep tonight and it will be way more expensive," Petersen added. He eventually put in the rest of his chips.

"You win," Barakat said, showing AK98 for two pair. Petersen didn't have a flush, but he did show J1084 for a straight to win the pot and double up.

"This crazy guy from Denmark. We all believed he had the flush," Dominykas Karmazinas said.

"If I win, going out tonight is on me," Petersen told him.

"You can't afford to go out with me," Karmazinas added.

Petersen Ready to Party

Level 13 : Blinds 7,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Alexander Petersen
Alexander Petersen

Alexander Petersen was having a discussion with Dominykas Karmazinas about bars to go to in Tallinn as he got involved in a pot with Filip Aleksic.

Aleksic bet 50,000 from the small blind on a flop of A6Q and Petersen called in the big blind. Jorryt van Hoof, who had just been eliminated on another table, then came over to talk to Petersen.

"You should be thinking about the tournament, not about going out," Van Hoof said. The turn was the 10 and Aleksic bet another 275,000.

"In honor of my friend here, I'm going to make a crazy move," Petersen said, pointing to Van Hoof and moving all in for 495,000. Aleksic snap-called.

"That's not good. I shouldn't have slow-played," Petersen said, showing AQ99. Aleksic had KJ74 for the nut straight, but the Q river improved Petersen to a full house and earned him a miracle double up.

"Now for sure I'm going out," Petersen added.
