Joseph "Take the keys to my Hummer" Rutkai has knocked out another player in similarly ungentlemanly fashion to the last. His bettered his opponent's pocket eights on a board, and the following, or something that sounded sort of like the following, erupted from the mouth of Mr. Rutkai:
"Bam ba da bing, urchee urchee, thank you, hasta la vista, goodbye."
His busted opponent merely sighed wearily and made his exit.
Team PokerStars Pro Katja Thater busted out when her pocket sevens ran into Javier "Anguila" Etayo's pocket aces. That hand pushed The Eel back up to 20,000.
Stefano Fiore is one of those people who just can't keep his emotions in when he wins a big pot, it seems. He got his chips in preflop with against Arnaud Mattern's and he coin-flipped his way to a double-up when an ace came on the board.
"YESSSSSS!!!!" was the Fiore reaction, followed by some running around. Mattern showed no emotion as he counted out the 13,400 to hand over to Fiore. Mattern is down to around 50,000 but he's still our chip leader.
Arnaud Mattern continues to expand his stack. Most recently he button-raised and Gabor Szamosi called to see a flop which both players checked. Szamosi bet out 1,300 on the turn, but Mattern made it 3,550 to go and Szamosi laid it down, leaving himself on 11,500.
Not quite as spectacularly chipped up as his fellow countryman but nonetheless up there on around 34,000 is Ludovic Lacay. He acquired much of this tasty stack when his made a straight to bust an opponent holding pocket tens.
