Pescatori Gives Back 85K on Next Hand

On the very next hand following his double-up, Max Pescatori raised to 22,000, Chris Wolters shipped his remaining 86,000 into the pot and Pescatori called.

Wolters {A-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds}
Pescatori {K-Diamonds} {10-Spades}

It looked like Pescatori was going to score the KO when the flop came down {J-Clubs} {10-Clubs} {4-Hearts}, but the {A-Diamonds} hit the turn, pairing up Wolters. The river was the {4-Clubs} and Pescatori gave back 86,000 of his newly acquired chips.

Max Pescatori Doubles Through Huseyin Yilmaz

Ocho!
Ocho!
Huseyin Yilmaz opened for 17,000, Max Pescatori reraised to 40,000 and Yilmaz moved all in for 202,000. With about 125,000 behind and his tournament life on the line, Pescatori made the call.

Pescatori {8-Clubs} {8-Diamonds}
Yilmaz {K-Clubs} {Q-Diamonds}

The flop was {Q-Hearts} {10-Spades} {2-Diamonds}, Yilmaz pairing his queen. The turn was the {A-Spades}, but the {8-Spades} spiked on the river, making Pescatori's set and doubling him up to 400,000.

"Pescatori! Ocho on the last card!" cheered Humberto Brenes from the rail as Pescatori stacked up his chips.

Carter Gill Eliminated in 23rd Place (£16,313)

Carter Gill raised and Antony Lellouche called. The flop was {K-?} {Q-?} {3-?} . That's when all the money went in. Lellouche held {K-?} {Q-?} against Gill's {A-?} {Q-?} . Gill did not have nice things to say about the result.

"Nice f----- call preflop. You f---- idiot," Gill spewed.

The turn and river did not help Gill and he was eliminated. Lellouche did not say a word as he raked in the pot.

Vive Le France!

Antony Lellouche
Antony Lellouche
Over on "Table France" (where David Benyamine, Antony Lellouche, and a very pregnant Alexia Portal are all seated), Lellouche and Benyamine are hooking up quite frequently in hands and trading small pots.

In their latest pas de deux, Lellouche limped in from early position and Benyamine checked his option from the big blind. The flop was {J-Diamonds} {6-Spades} {4-Clubs}. Benyamine check-called Lellouche's 10,000 bet. The turn was the {7-Spades} and both players checked. When the {A-Clubs} fell on the river, Benyamine led out for 16,500 and Lellouche dribbled in a call.

Lellouche turned up {A-Diamonds} {4-Diamonds}. Benyamine mucked and Lellouche raked in the pot.

Busch League

Erik Sjodin opened for a 16,000 raise and Peter Busch made the call. The flop was {A-Spades} {5-Hearts} {4-Spades}. Sjodin led out for 21,000 and Busch made the call. Both players checked the {3-Clubs} on the turn and the {A-Clubs} on the river.

Busch showed {6-Hearts} {6-Diamonds}, besting Sjodin's unimproved {K-Spades} {Q-Diamonds} and raked in the pot.

Justin Truesdell Eliminated in 24th Place (£16,313)

The last of Justin Truesdell's chips sailed into the pot before the flop vs. Jonas Molander.

Truesdell {K-Hearts} {9-Clubs}
Molander {Q-Diamonds} {7-Spades}

The flop was {Q-Clubs} {J-Diamonds} {4-Diamonds}, Molander pairing his queen. No help for Truesdell on the {3-Diamonds} turn or the {4-Hearts} river and he hit the rail.

Humberto Brenes, who has been sweating the action from the rail stopped to shake the young man's hand.

"This is the walk of shame," he quipped with a laugh.
