Jakob Carlsson who finished 2nd behind Liv Boeree at San Remo just over a year ago, fired out 1,500 on a flop of

with EPT Barcelona finalist Konstantin Puchkov the only caller.
On the
turn, Carlsson fired out 3,000 before Puchkov made it 7,000 to go. Carlsson made the call to see a
river which went check-check, the Russian turning over
...It was good.
The board read

when we arrived and the gentleman in the nine seat had bet out 1,300. Past the dealer, Constant Rijkenberg in the one seat had a raise to 5,300 in front of him. After a while, Mr. Nine Seat shoved to cover Rijkenberg - who snap-folded, leaving himself just 6,100. It could be a short day for the 2009 EPT San Remo champion.
Oleh Okhotskyi just doubled to about 45,000 after a cooler with
against Niall Farrell's
after all the money went in on the turn of a

board. The
river changed nothing and Farrell has been crippled as a result.
A gentleman we believe to be Antun Topic made the opening raise and Philip Huxley called behind before John Eames reraised to 2,000 from the big blind. Both called, and they saw a flop.
Flop:

After a short pause, Eames bet out 2,300 - and soon Topic raised to 5,000. Huxley got out of their way, and after another brief pause, Eames made the call.
Turn:
This time Eames checked, and Topic bet 5,000, leaving himself around 11,000 behind. Eames tanked... and tanked... and went all in to cover Topic, who called.
Topic:

Eames:

River: a blank sort of
Topic nodded and took his leave of both table and tournament; Eames meanwhile moved on up to the environs of 50,000.

Chris Moorman has been eliminated after an odd hand against McLean Karr, the latter had opened UTG with Moorman and another youngster calling while William Thorson called in the big blind.
The flop had come

and McLean Karr had gone to bet 1,150 but instead accidentally bet 5,150. Moorman, playing a 12,000 stack had looked around and seen that the other player in the hand didn't look too interested.
"William, well he could have anything in the big blind," reasoned the young Englishman.
Moorman moved all-in with
and it was passed back to Karr who made the call with
. The board bricked out and Moorman's EPT was done.
