Win Your Way to the EPT Grand Final with the Skrill Freeroll on PokerStars

Skrill is the official payment provider of the European Poker Tour Seasn 8 and is are hosting its first €500 EPT freeroll tournament tomorrow on PokerStars.com. There will be a total of ten of these freerolls hosted by Skrill over the coming months, with each one awarding a package for the €10,000 Skrill Grand Freeroll.

The Grand Freeroll will be held during the EPT Season 8 Grand Final in 2012. Each qualifier will get their buy-in into the Skrill Grand Final, plus accommodation and spending money.

Tomorrow's (October 2nd) freeroll kicks off at 7:00 PM London time (1900 BST) and features unlimited €1 rebuys for the first hour. To enter, open a PokerStars account (if you don’t already have one) and make a cash deposit into your Skrill (Moneybookers) account using the deposit code SKRILLEPT. You can find the Skrill Grand Freeroll qualifier by opening the PokerStars lobby and clicking Events, then EPT.

Team PokerStars Pro Jason Mercier just saw his stack take a giant leap to over 100,000 in chips after Anrei One gifted him one. Mercier replayed the hand to us and this is how it went down.

During the last level, One raised to 1,100 and Mercier three-bet to 2,725. One then four-bet to 6,200 and Mercier five-bet to 12,050. One still wasn't convinced and moved all in for about 45,000. "I beat him into the pot," said Mercier describing his call.

Mercier held {A-} {K-} offsuit and One held {9-Spades} {7-Spades} . The flop came down {A-} {J-} {6-} with two clubs and one spade before a {7-} was added on the turn and a {6-} on the river.

Daniel Cates moved all in from early position for just over 7,000 and action folded to Konstantin Bucherl in the big blind. Bucherl called with the {10-Diamonds} {10-Clubs} . Cates held the {A-Spades} {9-Spades} .
