Attal Vincent opened to 375 from the hijack and then quickly called when Allan Baekke three-bet to 950 from the button. A flop reading saw Vincent check-call a 1,125 bet from Baekke. The turn card was the and Vincent checked again but instead of calling Baekke's bet of 2,625 he instantly mucked.
"You hit the king huh?" quizzed Vincent.
"Of course. I did. I always have kings on the button," replied Baekke.
Paul Berende bets 400 in early position and four players make the call giving us five-way flop. The dealer flings onto the board and the action checks to David Vamplew in the hijack seat, who bets 1,050. There is one caller and it comes in the shape of Kasper Jacobsen in the big blind.
The turn card is the and Jacobsen check-calls a 2,325 Vamplew double barrel. On the river we get the and once more the action is check-call. The bet size is 5,300 and Jacobsen won't be seeing it again.
Vamplew turned over for the flopped set and Jacobsen mucked his hand.
"Another set David?" Asked Dominik Nitsche who is sat on the table just behind him.
"What do you mean, it's my first one," replied Vamplew.
Joining the action on a flop, the former Liverpool and Denmark midfielder Jan Molby made it 625 to play from the big blind and when Jose Carlos Garcia released his hand Dag Vidorbrigsvor made the call. The dealer burned a card before carefully placing the out on the turn. Molby, sat with his head resting on his right hand, bet 1,100 and Vidorbrigsvor instantly called.
The fifth and final community card was the and Molby bet again, increasing his bet slightly to 1,500. As soon as his chips had touched the felt Vidorbrigsvor had reached for chips and raised to 5,100. Molby realising he is probably beaten, gets out of the way.
We joined the action on a flop of after David Vamplew had raised from the cutoff and Andreas Ulrich had called in the big blind. Both players checked and the turn card was the . Ulrich led for 650 and Vamplew made the call and the dealer gave us the on the river. Ulrich, who had a timid looking stack of 11,700, placed 1,500 into the middle and Vamplew raised it up to 4,200. Ulrich looked a forlong figure as he made the call and Vamplew turned over for the straight. Ulrich showed the table his rather transparent and Vamplew gathered in his pot.
Former EPT Prague champion Roberto Romanello opened the betting with a raise to 300 from under the gun. The action folded around to Dag Vidorbrigsvor in the big blind and he unsurprisingly makes the call. Unsurprisingly because he seems to be playing every single hand at the moment.
The first three community cards come down , Vidorbrigvor checked and Romanello checked behind. The turn is the and again the action goes check, check. Our final card is the and it goes check, check again.
Romanello turned over which was enough to win the hand as Vidorbrigvor relinquished his hand.
David Vamplew stopped the rot after he took a pot off Paul Berende with a flush over flush.
We reached the action on the turn where the board read and Berende led for 600 from the big blind. Vamplew called to the river where he faced a 1,600 bet from the Dutchman. Vamplew took his time before calling with whilst saying, "I have the ace of spades."
"I have the king (of spades)," replied Berende. "Good card for me on the river," he continued.
David Vamplew is seated over on Table 26 and it has not been too favourable for the Scotsman so far today as he currently finds himself with 7,500 less than what he started the day with.
From the cutoff Vamplew made it 300 to play and his only customer was Johnny Jensen on the button. A flop reading saw Vamplew make a continuation bet of 400 only to see Jensen raise the action to 1,025. Vamplew remained stoic throughout, only moving to pick up two red 1,000 chips and placing them on top of his original bet. Jensen made the call in a shower of red and green chips and it was off the the turn.
Vamplew glanced at his opponent and then tapped the table and checked. Jensen instantaneously checked behind and the dealer put out the on the river. Vamplew checked again and as he had done on the turn Jensen checked behind.
Vamplew:
Jensen:
Jensen scoops the pot, having made a move then a call on the flop with his weak flush draw.
Joining the action on a board, former PokerStars EPT San Remo winner Ruper Elder checked and Steve O'Dwyer checked behind. The river brought the into the equation and Elder sat motionless as he decided what action to take. O'Dwyer was watching him like a hawk watches its pray and he must have seen something he did not like because when Elder bet 600 O'Dwyer instantly mucked his hand.
We join the action rather late in a hand between Martins Adeniya and Team PokerStars Pro Arnaud Mattern. The action has reached the turn on a board of and Mattern has checked from early position.
All eyes glared at Adeniya and he bet 1,175 and Mattern called. On the river we saw the , Mattern checked and Adeniya dropped 2,550 onto the table with a thud. Mattern had a deep think, and believed he was good, because he made the call. Adeniya flipped over and Mattern rapped his knuckles on the felt and passed his hand unseen to the dealer.
