Charania Smashes a Huge Double to Over 900K

Mohsin Charania won a massive pot just before the last break and he described the action to us as follows.

Charania opened with a raise and Andrew Pantling made the call from the big blind. The flop came down {10-}{9-}{9-} and Pantling check-raised Charania's 17,000-chip bet to 42,000. Charania called.

The turn was a {5-} and Pantling led for 125,000. Charania made the call again.

The river was a {J-} and Pantling put Charania all in for his last 279,000. Charania quickly called having rivered a full house with {J-}{9-}. Pantling held {K-}{9-} and was ahead until fifth street.

Clemencon Calls His Stack Off with Ace High

Tristan Clemencon fired 42,500 on the {8-Spades}{8-Clubs}{5-Spades}{3-Hearts} board and his opponent made the call. The river completed the board with the {4-Clubs} and Clemencon checked. His opponent moved all in, covering Clemencon for his last 120,000 or so. After a long, long several minutes in the tank, Clemencon made the call.

His opponent tabled the {J-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for trip eights and Clemencon showed the {A-Spades}{9-Clubs} for ace high. Clemencon lost the pot and was eliminated.

Two More Down

Adrian Schaap was busy busting with ace-ten to an opponent's ace-king as Jan Petersen was busting in similar fashion one table along.

He open shoved with {k-Clubs}{8-Clubs} and was called by the ever increasing Andrew Pantling holding {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}. The board ran {5-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{9-Clubs} to add more to the Canadian's stack.
