Players are slowly starting to filter into the room, so there will definitely be a slight delay to the start of play. Some players we know to be playing today are listed below. They include four EPT champions, a double LAPT champion, and a WSOP champion.
Welcome to Day 1b of the 2012 PokerStars.fr EPT Deauville. Yesterday's starting flight of Day 1a drew 339 players and we expect many more to hit the felt today to take their shot at EPT glory. Kristijonas Andrulis enjoyed the most success on Day 1a, bagging up a stack of 162,200.
Last year's champion, Lucien Cohen, should be among those in the field today and he'll be joined by a plethora of Team PokerStars Pros. Liv Boeree, Vanessa Selbst, Ana Marquez, Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier, Vanessa Rousso, and Eugene Katchalov are all expected to take part in the action today.
Eight levels will be played today with no dinner break. Each level is 60 minutes and there will be a 15-minute break after every two levels.
