Boeree More Than Doubles Up

Level 6 : 300/600, 75 ante

Team PokerStars Pro Live Boeree has climbed to around 75,000 chips after her set held in a hand with Dylan Linde.

Boeree opened to 1,500 from middle position, one player called, Shashank Jain called on the button, Igor Yaroshevskyy called in the small blind and Dylan Linde called in the big blind.

Both blinds checked to Boeree on the {6-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{5-Clubs} flop and she bet 3,500. This folded out two players, but Yaroshevskyy check-raised to 9,000. Linde then paused for 30 seconds or so before raising the action to 25,000. Boeree pushed all-in for a few thousand chips more, Yaroshevskyy folded, and Linde called.

Linde: {Q-Clubs}{4-Clubs}
Boeree: {2-Spades}{2-Diamonds}

The {5-Diamonds} turn filled Boeree's full house, rendering the {A-Spades} river meaningless.

Muehloecker vs. Greenwood: All the Chips Go In

Level 6 : 300/600, 75 ante

With around 25,000 already in the pot and a flop of {q-Clubs}{8-Spades}{9-Clubs}, Sam Greenwood checked from the big blind and Thomas Muehloecker bet 10,500 from the button. Greenwood made the call and then checked after the dealer burned and turned the {7-Spades}. Muehloecker moved all in for 21,900 and Greenwood called.

Muehloecker: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}
Greenwood: {k-Spades}{q-Spades}

Greenwood held top pair with a flush draw, and he needed to improve as Muehloecker was sitting with pocket rockets. The dealer burned one last time and put out the {2-Diamonds}, a blank as far as Greenwood concerned. Ship the double to Muehloecker.

Brammer Calls It Off

Level 6 : 300/600, 75 ante

We missed the action unfold, but we do know that Christopher Brammer had bet the turn on a board reading {4-Clubs}{5-Spades}{a-Spades}{2-Clubs}. Jean Paul Zaffran then moved in, and Brammer thought long and hard before calling off for approximately 50,000 total.

Zaffran: {4-Spades}{3-Spades}
Brammer: {5-}{4-}

Brammer had flopped two pair, but Zaffran turned a straight. Brammer needed either a four or five on the river, but it wasn't meant to be as the {2-Hearts} blanked. With that, Brammer was eliminated from the tournament while Zaffran climbed closer to the top of the counts.

Ladies Love Kamel

Level 6 : 300/600, 75 ante

Tamer Kamel is up to 128,000 chips thanks in part to busting Alexandros Kolonias a few moments ago.

Kamel raised, Kolonias moved all-in with what turned out to be {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs} and Kamel made the call with {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}. The ladies remained the best hand as the board ran {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{9-Hearts}{6-Spades}, sending Kolonias to the rail.

Ruzicka and Helppi Catch a Boat

Level 6 : 300/600, 75 ante

Local grinder Vojtech Ruzicka raised in early position, Juha Helppi called on the button and Alex Goulder put in the chips required to call from the big blind. Goulder then checked the {10-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} flop, Ruzicka said "38" and bet 3,800, and only Helppi called.

The turn was the {8-Diamonds} and Ruzicka bet it to the tune of 9,000, and Helppi called again. Both players checked the {5-Hearts} river.

"Full house, and full house," said the dealer when Helppi turned over {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and Ruzicka the {A-Diamonds}{10-Spades}.

Two Pair Does the Trick for Bilic

Level 6 : 300/600, 75 ante

Action folded to Alen Bilic in the small blind and he just limped. Ukraine's Stanislav Kozlovskyi then exercised his option from the big with a raise to 2,000, which Bilic called.

When the flop came down {q-Spades}{j-Clubs}{5-Spades}, Bilic check-called a bet of 2,500 before both players checked the {9-Hearts} turn as well as the {5-Clubs} river. Bilic tabled the {j-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for jacks and fives, and it was good as Kozlovskyi sent his cards to the muck.

He Bets Four-Spade Board

Level 6 : 300/600, 75 ante

Just before the level went up, Dominik Nitsche raised to 1,300 from the hijack and China's Chang He defended from the big blind. Both players checked the {j-Spades}{8-Clubs}{10-Spades} flop, and then Nitsche bet 2,500 on the {2-Spades} turn, which He called.

When the {3-Spades} river put four spades on the board, Nitsche slowed down with a check and then quickly folded when He bet 5,700.

The Italian Job

Level 5 : 250/500, 50 ante

Mustapha Kanit was under the gun and decided 1,400 was what he wanted people to pay in order to see a flop. Only Kanit's fellow Italian, Dario Sammartino, on the button called.

Both players checked the {10-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} flop, and Kanit checked again on the {7-Hearts} turn. Sammartino fired a bet of 1,800 at Kanit and he folded quickly.
