Fedor Holz Eliminated by Narcis-Gabriel Nedelcu

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 200 ante
Fedor Holz
Fedor Holz

Fedor Holz raised to 2,700 and Narcis-Gabriel Nedelcu three-bet to 7,100. Holz called and the pair saw a flop of {9-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades}.

Holz checked to his opponent who bet 12,200 and Holz called. The turn was the {7-Spades} and again Holz checked. This time Nedelcu moved all in. He had over 200,000 behind, and Holz had started the hand with little over 40,000 after having registered at the start of today's play.

After a couple of minutes thinking, Holz called and tabled {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for top pair. Nedelcu however had {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} and Holz couldn't find an ace or a nine on the river as it came {5-Spades} to eliminate the €50,000 Super High Roller champion.

Lappin It Up

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Fraser MacIntyre, who finished third at EPT Madrid in Season 8 for a career-high cash of € 145,000, raised from UTG+2 to 3,000. Three players came along for the ride, with David Lappin one of them. The flop of {5-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} saw MacIntyre continue for 6,300, but while the other two callers folded, Lappin was doing no such thing, moving all-in for 45,000 chips.

MacIntyre went into the tank, but had some cabaret on board as Lappin talked through the hand with him, telling his opponent that he was behind, that his "Ace-Jack" wasn't good, but was "competitive". MacIntyre calculated that the call of 38,700 amounted to around half of his remaining stack, so had a big decision on his hands.

"I might even show." Lappin prodded.
"At this rate, you're going to have to show." quipped MacIntyre.
"Remember, I was in the blind; I didn't really want to call." Lappin continued.

With the player to the right of Lappin calling the clock, MacIntyre was running out of time. With twenty seconds left, he chose to fold, and Lappin was as good as his word, turning over {5-Hearts}{2-Hearts} for a flopped two pair. MacIntyre showed his {A-Spades}{K-Spades} and there was a little mutual back-slapping abut the general play.

Dominik Panka Gets Rivered and Busts

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 200 ante
Dominik Panka
Dominik Panka

Joining the action on the {Q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} flop, the big blind checked and Alexander Lakhov bet 5,000 from early position. One seat over, Dominik Panka had put his sunglasses and game face on. After about one minute of consideration, he moved all in for 32,000 and the big blind quickly folded. Lakhov called with the superior stack, though not by much, and the cards were tabled.

Panka: {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}
Lakhov: {K-Spades}{Q-Spades}

The {5-Clubs} turn changed nothing, but the {K-Hearts} river improved Lakhov to two pair and eliminated the former PCA champion.

Van Zadelhoff chipping up

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Steven van Zadelhoff started the day with just 22,000 in chips, but currently has 140,000 in front of him. The bulk of Van Zadelhoff newly acquired chips were courtesy of Korey Aldemir. Aldemir lost {K-}{K-} versus the Dutchman's {A-}{K-}, sending Van Zadelhoff over the 100k mark.

Lecomte Busts in Three-Way All In

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Alexandros Vlachakis raised to 2,600 from the cutoff and Quentin Lecomte shoved the button for his last 9,000. In the big blind, Santiago Parra Garcia reraised all in for 58,000 and Vlachakis called all in.

Lecomte: [A,Js]
Vlachakis: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades}
Parra Garcia: {8-Clubs}{8-Spades}

The board ran out {9-Spades}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} and Vlachakis sent Lecomte to the rail, while also eliminating Lecomte.

More Counts from the Felt

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Pascal Vos Among Big Stacks

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Pascal Vos raised from middle position and then faced the three-bet of Lawrence Bayley from a few seats over in the cutoff. Vos called and checked the {9-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop. Bayley bet 5,100 and Vos, with a surprised look on the face, took some time before releasing his cards.

It has been a good start for the Dutchman however, as he almost doubled up his stack thus far.
