Miracles for Ventura and Duarte

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Luiz Duarte doubled up, then tripled up with {A-Hearts}{6-Hearts} against the {6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} of Samuel Panzica and the {6-Spades}{2-Diamonds} of Sam Chartier for his last 18,000. Then, Duarte shoved for 64,000 with {A-Spades}{Q-Clubs} versus {A-Hearts}{4-Spades} and doubled up once again on a board of {Q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{6-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{2-Spades}.

Diego ventura was all in and at risk for 106,000 with the {2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and Ryan Riess looked him up with {J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}. The clubs were dead on the {K-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{10-Clubs} turn, but the {2-Spades} river saved the Peruvian.

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Francois Billard
Francois Billard

The previous hand, Francois Billard had shoved for just over 100,000 chips and he would do so again for just over 120,000. This time, Felix Bleiker snap-called and that for a very good reason.

Billard: {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}
Bleiker: {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}

The board ran out {10-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{4-Spades} and Billard headed to the payout desk.

Lebedev vs Loosli

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

A massive pot developed after innocent action to the {K-Hearts}{10-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} turn and Sergey Lebedev check-raised from 25,000 to 85,000 out of the blinds. Sylvain Loosli called and they headed to the {8-Diamonds} river. Lebedev now fired 175,000 right away and Loosli tanked for an eternity before letting go.

Dominik Nitsche
Dominik Nitsche

We didn't get the hand but Ben Heath filled us in on the details.

Nitsche raised and William Arruda in the big blind defended. The German put out a continuation bet on {a-}{9-}{5-} rainbow, and the big blind called. Nitsche barrelled on the {2-} on the turn and William Arruda shoved on him. Nitsche showed {a-}{j-}, but Arruda had out flopped him holding {a-}{9-}. The river bricked and Nitsche was out the door.

Leonzio Doubles Up

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

On a {8-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{9-Clubs} board, Dominik Nitsche had bet 45,000 and was check-raised by Marco Leonzio to 100,000. Nitsche called and saw the {8-Spades} on the river, where Leonzio snap-shoved for 125,000.

"The speed makes me think I'm good," said Nitsche as he contemplated the call. He did eventually call but shook his head as Leonzio turned over {j-Hearts}{q-Spades} for a turned straight.

WIth that hand the two effectively swap chip stacks, with Leonzio over 500,000 and Nitsche back to under 200,000
