Vogelsang vs Chartier

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Out of the small blind, Sam Chartier three-bet to 63,000 and initial raiser Christoph Vogelsang called. The flop came {J-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} and Chartier continued for 47,000, Vogelsang called. The {J-Hearts} turn was a staring contest between the duo and Chartier eventually check-folded to a bet of 60,000 by Vogelsang.

Vladas Tamasauskas is the Bubble Boy

With eight minutes left on the clock for the current level, a five-way limped pot would see the bubble burst. Jerry Odeen bet the {J-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{5-Spades} flop for 15,000 and just Vladas Kamasauskas called from one seat over. The {8-Clubs} on the turn saw the Swede continue for 33,000 and again Tamasauskas called, slowly cutting out the call from his stack of T-1,000 chips.

On the {2-Spades} river, Odeen wasted little time before announcing all in and Tamasauskas was sent into the think tank. He took a sip of his water, apologized for taking so long and stood up to study the board. Another minute passed and he ultimately announced the call.

Odeen turned over the {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} and Tamasauskas was trying to muck his cards, declaring the defeat. The dealer turned over his cards since it was an all in showdown and the Lithuanian had called with the inferior {A-Hearts}{7-Hearts} to exit in 28th place on the stone cold bubble.

Bleiker Doubles Through Coulier

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Arne Coulier, who has won his seat for the event through a Live Satellite and picked up some chips from Dominik Nitsche recently, just made a mode that backfired heavily. Coulier opened, Felix Bleiker missclicked and min-three-bet before the Belgian four-bet shoved. Bleiker called for 257,500 and was put at risk on the bubble.

Bleiker: {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs}
Coulier: {K-Spades}{9-Hearts}

On the {Q-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop, Coulier was demanding the {9-Clubs} whereas Bleiker smiled over with an "I take the ace." Neither the {7-Hearts} turn nor the {K-Hearts} river changed anything and Coulier was cut down considerably.

The board ran out {5-Spades}{5-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{10-Spades}{q-Spades} and Ghassan doubled to around 75,000

Neuville Departs; Hand For Hand Mode

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Pierre Neuville
Pierre Neuville

"What am I doing with 29 left?" Pierre Neuville said after having just been eliminated two spots off the money. The Belgian had three-bet jammed out of the big blind for what looked like 120,000. Initial raiser William Arruda called and it was a big flip once again.

Neuville: {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}
Arruda: {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}

The flop {K-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} gave Arruda the nut straight and it was all over after the {9-Clubs} turn, making the {10-Diamonds} river a formality. Only 28 players remain with the top 27 spots getting paid, the tables will now continue in hand for hand mode.
