Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Under the gun, Mikita Badziakouski raised to 4,000. Ramin Hajiyev on the button called and big blind Ole Schemion called as well.

The flop came {J-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{8-Clubs} and Schemion checked. Badziakouski bet 7,000 and just Hajiyev called, Schemion folded.

Both players checked the {K-Hearts} on the turn and the {3-Hearts} completed the board. Badziakouski checked and saw Hajiyev bet 17,800. Badziakouski thought about it for some time before he called. Hajiyev showed {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds} and Badziakouski mucked.

Ahadpour's Roller Coaster Continues

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Nick Petrangelo shoved for his last 17,700 with the {A-Clubs}{6-Spades} and Behzad Ahadpour reshoved from the small blind with the {K-Hearts}{Q-Spades}. The board ran out {8-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{4-Spades}{10-Spades}{8-Clubs} and Petrangelo doubled.

Ahadpour was on his way out after getting his last 13,500 in with the {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}, but he cracked the {K-Hearts}{K-Spades} of Philipp Gruissem on a board of {7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}.

Khoroshenin Versus Kolonias

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

As we walked up to the table, big blind Oleksii Khoroshenin had just check-raised his neighbor's 7,000 bet to 21,000 on {9-Spades}{4-Clubs}{K-Spades}. Alexandros Kolonias, seated under the gun, called.

The {K-Hearts} hit the turn and both players checked. Khoroshenin bet 41,000 and Kolonias went deep into the tank. After several minutes, Max Silver called the clock. With just a spare couple seconds left of his one minute of time to think, Kolonias tossed in a chip to call. Khoroshenin showed {K-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} and Kolonias mucked.

Buldygin Doubles, Cripples Ahadpour

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

It was Adrian Mateos, who started the action, with an under the gun raise to 4,500. From the button Viacheslav Buldygin made it 14,700 to go, only to see Behzad Ahadpour, to his immediate left, shove all-in for 65,000.

Mateos took his time but folded. Buldygin snapcalled all-in for 53,000 total.

Ahadpour: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Buldygin: {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}

It was a race and Ahadpour did hold on the {3-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{8-Spades} flop. The {A-Diamonds} on turn did turn the tables and now Ahadpour needed a ten to knock out his Russian opponent.

The {8-Clubs} on the river wasn't any help for Ahadpour and Buldygin doubled to 115,000, while Ahadpour was left with only 12,000 chips. Meanwhile Mateos claimed that he folded pocket jacks.

A couple of hands later, Ahadpour got some chips back from Buldygin. The Russian opened to 4,500 and Ahadpour moved in for 11,900 total. Buldygin called.

It was Ahadpour's {A-Clubs}{10-Spades} against Buldygin's {A-Spades}{2-Spades}. The {5-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} gave Ahadpour the double up, but he is still very short.

Leonard Five-bets

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Patrick Leonard raised to 4,500 from under the gun, but it was just the start of a lot of preflop action. Two seats to his left Ole Schemion threw in a three-bet to 14,500.

Allan Sannier got out of the way, but Oleksii Khoroshenin raised it up once more. He made a cold four-bet to 30,500. It was folded around back to Leonard who tanked for a good five minutes before popping it up to 91,500 total.

Schemion folded after a minute of thinking. Khoroshenin only needed a couple of seconds to do the same.

However, Khoroshenin wasn't slowing down after this. A couple of hands later, he opened and Max Silver made a three-bet to 15,000. Khoroshenin responded by four-betting to 41,000 and this time this did the job.

Martin Finger
Martin Finger

Martin Finger has been eliminated. The German raised from the hijack and Dario Sammartino in the small blind as well as Nariman Yaghmai in the big blind both called. On the {10-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} flop, both players in the blinds check-called a continuation bet of Finger and then checked again the {K-Hearts} turn.

Finger moved all in for around 42,000 into a pot of 35,000 and Sammartino folded, Yaghmai called.

Finger: {Q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}
Yaghmai: {K-Spades}{J-Hearts}

The {9-Spades} on the river was a blank and Finger headed to the rail.

Alex DiFelice Eliminated

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Alex DiFelice
Alex DiFelice

By winning a live satellite last night, Alex DiFelice had the pleasure of joining the €25,750 Super High Roller at a massive discount. The Canadian wasn't able to turn that small investment into a profit, as he became the latest player to bust from the tournament.

DiFelice looked down at {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs} in middle position and opened up the action with a raise to 4,500. Nariman Yaghmai elected to call on the button with {K-Spades}{9-Spades}. The {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}{9-Clubs} flop promised fireworks, and on the {4-Spades} turn all the chips flew into the middle.

DiFelice just needed to dodge a spade to score the double-up, but the dealer had other plans by flipping the {Q-Spades} on the river. Yaghmai improved his two pair to a flush, edging out DiFelice's top set and forcing him to the rail.

Hajiyev Busts Shak in Two Hands

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Dan Shak
Dan Shak

Hand 1

Sam Greenwood raised from under the gun and picked up two caller sin Ramin Hajiyev as well as Dan Shak in the small blind. The flop of {K-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{J-Hearts} was checked to Hajiyev, who bet 8,800. Shak check-raised all in for 70,000 and Greenwood folded, Hajiyev called for slightly less.

Hajiyev: {K-Spades}{Q-Clubs}
Shak: {K-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

The {3-Spades} turn and {Q-Hearts} river failed to improve Shak and he was left with very few chips.

Hand 2

The very next hand, Hajiyev raised from early position and Shak called all in from the button, Andras Nemeth called in the small blind. Nemeth check-folded the {9-Spades}{7-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop to a bet by Hajiyev and the Azerbaijani tabled his {A-Clubs}{9-Hearts}. Shak shook his head with a dry smile, as he turned over his {9-Clubs}{5-Clubs}. The {Q-Spades} turn and {8-Diamonds} river sent him to the rail and Hajiyev finished the job he had started the previous hand.
