Kovalski Busts Duc

Level 13 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

The flop showed {3-Spades}{4-Clubs}{6-Hearts} on a three-way limped pot when Phan Duc checked in the small blind, followed by a bet of 3,500 from Heidi May in the big blind. Fabiano Kovalski, situated on the button, raised it to 12, 500 and after a tank, only Duc made the call.

The turn brought the {k-Hearts} and Duc check-called Kovalski's bet for 9,000.

Things heated on the {k-Spades} river. Duc opted to push all in for 52,000 and Kovalski quickly called. Holding {3-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}, Duc had the dominated hand, facing {7-Spades}{5-Spades} in Kovalski 's hand for the straight and got eliminated from the tournament.

Sierra Oddone Busts After Wrong Call

Level 13 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Ben Wilinofsky
Ben Wilinofsky

The completed board read {4-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{2-Clubs}{4-Hearts} with Jean Sierra Oddone in a heads-up battle against Ben Wilinofsky. Sierra was the shorter of the two stacks and was put to the test by Wilinofsky on the river when he bet 70,000, which was enough to put Sierra all in if the called.

Oddone contemplated his decision as Wilinofsky remained completely motionless. After nearly a minute passed, Sierra made the call and got the bad news when Wilinofsky tabled {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} for two pair with a king kicker. Sierra nodded and mucked his hand before he left the table, while another player asked for Sierra's hand to be revealed.

"Jack-ten," said Wilinofsky, and sure enough the dealer flipped over {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for two pair, ten kicker.

Wilinofsky, who took the Day 1a chip lead, is now up to 365,000.

Davies Eliminates Sontheimer

Level 13 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

The board read {9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} with already around 20,000 in the middle when Seth Davies check-called a bet for 17,000 from Steffen Sontheimer.

The river was the {q-Clubs} and Davies checked once more. Sontheimer thought about his move for a minute before pushing all his stack in the middle for approximatively 32,000 left. Davies snap-called and flipped over {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}. Holding {5-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for a mere six-high, Sontheimer had to make his way to the exit.

Juanda Wins with Queens

Level 13 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

John Juanda raised to 6,000 from under the gun and got calls from the small blind and Chris Moorman in the big blind.

The {8-Hearts}{6-Spades}{4-Spades} flop checked to Juanda who bet 11,000. The small blind called and Moorman folded.

The pair checked the {9-Diamonds} and the small blind also checked the {k-Clubs} river. Juanda, who was seemingly more interested in his phone than the hand, threw out 20,000 and his opponent called.

The 2015 EPT Barcelona Main Event champion showed {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} and his opponent tapped the table before mucking.

Tom Hall at the Crazy Pineapple Flip Out Final Table
Tom Hall at the Crazy Pineapple Flip Out Final Table

Tom Hall raised to 5,500 from middle position before Andrew Rudnik three-bet to 15,000 on the button. When the action folded back around to Hall, he thought for ten seconds before he made the call and the {5-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{6-Clubs} flop was revealed.

Hall checked and allowed Rudnik to bet 12,000. Hall, who earlier today made the final nine of the Crazy Pineapple Flip Out but was unable to win a coveted Platinum Pass, then moved all in for around 80,000.

Rudnik didn't need any time to mull over his decision and quickly folded as Hall picked up the pot.

Andre Busato De Oliveira: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}

There was no help for Oliveira's Kings on a {7-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{3-Spades}{10-Diamonds} run out and Oliveira doubled up.
