In a battle of the blinds between two of the shortest stacks, Lawrence Whyte pushed into Victor Azan and the Frenchman called for his last few big blinds.

The {j-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{2-Spades} board gave Whyte middle pair, while Azan had a flush draw and two live cads. The {10-Clubs} turn added a gutshot, but the {a-Spades} river came a blank. With 24 players remaining, a redraw for the last three tables will take place shortly.

Quintas Turns Trip Tens

Jose Quintas raised to 240,000 from the cutoff and Petru Papuc defended his big blind.

The flop came {10-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{3-Clubs}, Papuc check-called the 165,000 continuation-bet of Papuc.

The turn was the {10-Clubs}, Papuc bet 375,000 and Quintas made the call.

The river completed the board with the {2-Spades}, Papuc barreled a bet of 1,000,000 over the line after taking some time. Quintas quickly cut out calling chips and made the call. Papuc tabled {q-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} for two pair, tens and treys. Quintas held {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for trip tens to claim the pot.

Dentler vaulted out of his chair before the {10-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} flop provided a set, and the {8-Diamonds} turn and {10-Diamonds} river run out secured the double up for the German.

Chaieb Busts Berggren

On a board reading {q-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{5-Spades}{10-Clubs} and with about 1,300,000 in the middle, Andreas Berggren checked and Ali Chaieb bet 450,000. Berggren check-called.

The {8-Diamonds} river completed the board and Berggren checked once more. Chaieb moved all in for about 9,800,000 and Berggren called for less, putting at risk his last chips. Berggren turned over {q-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} for two pair but that wasn't good enough as Chaieb revealed {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} to take down the pot with his set of sevens, eliminating Berggren.

Big Stacks Clash

Adam Hendrix raised to 260,000 from the hijack and was called by Andre Silva Dias in the cutoff and Gisle Olsen in the small blind.

The flop came {8-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}, Olsen check-folded to the 350,000 continuation-bet of Hendrix which Dias did call.

The turn brought them the {q-Clubs}, Hendrix fired a bet of 750,000 over the line which Dias called again.

The river completed the board with the {3-Clubs}, Hendrix now barreled a bet of 1,600,000 into the pot. Dias tanked for a while and then opted to make the call but mucked when Hendrix tabled {k-Hearts}{j-Clubs} for the flush to scoop the pot.

Hendrix and Braco Chip Up

Adam Hendrix opened to 260,000 from the cutoff and Andre Silva Dias called on the button. Hendrix fired the {k-Spades}{7-Clubs}{5-Spades} flop for 250,000 and picked up a call, then followed it up with a second barrel on the {8-Spades} turn for 360,000 to receive another call. The {7-Diamonds} river brought a third barrel and Silva Dias folded.

One table over, [Removed:328] check-called a bet worth 315,000 by Pasquale Braco on the {9-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} flop. He also checked the {a-Clubs} turn and let go when facing a bet of 580,000.
