Braco Gets Grundtvig to Fold

Pasquale Braco raised to 240,000 from the button and was called by Christian Grundtvig in the small blind.

The flop came {k-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}, Grundtvig check-called the 275,000 continuation-bet of Braco.

They then both checked through the {8-Spades} on the turn to the {q-Clubs} on the river. Grundtvig checked and Braco put another bet in for Grundtvig to snap-fold to.

"Come on, you don't have six seven. How much is it?" Armand inquired. Half a minute passed and Armand elected to fold.

Gregory Armand raised to 225,000 from under the gun and Victor Azan in the big blind made it 800,000 in total. Armand shoved and Azan asked for a count. The all in was for 2,120,000 and Azan called after a few seconds.

"Alright dealer, give me a set," Armand said but found no help on the {a-Clubs}{8-Spades}{6-Spades} flop. The {4-Spades} turn provided a flush draw and Armand indeed got there on the {10-Spades} river. Both Armand and Azan took out their smartphones to take a picture of the outcome.

Papuc Doubles Through Pons

The board read {5-Spades}{k-Spades}{5-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and both Gregor Prizmic Martini and Petru Papuc had checked in the blinds. Fernando Pons bet 525,000 from the button for Martini to fold and Papuc to shove for 815,000. Pons quickly called with {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts} while Papuc held {9-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} for trip fives to double up.

Vojtech Ruzicka raised to 290,000 from the early position and kept 5,000 behind. Jan Dentler called in the hijack and Romain Vial three-bet shoved on the button with the bigger stack. Action folded back to Ruzicka who contemplated his options for a while until he heard that Michael Soyza had been eliminated over on the other table. With the pay jump in the pocket, Ruzicka made the call while Dentler folded.
