Deveson Folds on the River

Level 8 : 400/800, 800 ante

Max Deveson limped from the small blind and David Hu raised to 2,500. Deveson wanted to see how much Hu had behind and then called.

The flop was dealt {k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} and Deveson check-called a bet of 2,000. The turn was the {6-Diamonds} and Deveson check-called again. This time Hu bet 7,000 and the {9-Spades} was dealt on the river.

Deveson checked again but folded this time after Hu bet 6,500.

Sey Gets Value From Baltazar

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

The complete {j-Hearts}{5-Spades}{5-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} board was on the table and Hassan Sey bet 18,000 from early position, putting the pressure on Isabel Baltazar on the button.

Baltazar ended up calling but she mucked her hand when Sey showed {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}. Sey has one of the bigger stacks in the room in front of him and has well over 100 big blinds.

Guillen Holds, Nearly Triples Up

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Joris Ruijs opened the action to 3,000 and received calls from Angel Guillen, as well as the blinds that included Fabrice Aujoulat. It was Aujoulat that led out for 12,000 on an {8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{6-Spades} flop. The big blind folded, but Ruijs opted to slide a towering stack of T-5,000 chips in the middle, more than enough to cover the entire table.

Guillen called it off for 47,900 total and Aujoulat called all in for slightly less than that after briefly considering in.

Angel Guillen: {5-Spades}{4-Spades}
Fabrice Aujoulat: {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}
Joris Ruijs: {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}

All players had a fair shot to win the hand but it would be Guillen's current best that remained best after the {3-Clubs} turn and {9-Clubs} river completed the board.
