Thom Greben Eliminated in 11th Place (RUB1,183,700)

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Thom Greben
Thom Greben

The blinds had just gone up and Thom Greben in the cutoff battled with Giorgiy Skhulukhiya in the small blind. Until the {q-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{6-Spades}{q-Diamonds} river, some 750,000 were in the middle and Skhulukhiya checked his option.

Greben moved all in for what appeared to be 415,000 and Skhulukhiya gave it some thought before making the call.

Greben tabled {4-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and was shown the {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades} by Skhulukhiya before heading to the payout desk. The Dutchman collects RUB1,183,700 for his efforts.

Kozenkova Wins Without Showdown

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Dmitriy Kopyl raised from middle position and Lidiya Kozenkova defended her big blind.

On a flop of {q-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{3-Hearts}, Kozenkova check-raised from 75,000 to 215,000 and Kopyl stuck around to see the {3-Clubs} on the turn. Kozenkova checked and Kopyl bet 250,000 to receive a reluctant call.

Kozenkova also checked the {j-Clubs} on the river and Kopyl bet 450,000 with 1,900,000, which sent Kozenkova in the think tank with 830,000 behind at her disposal. Three minutes passed and she made the call, Kopyl tapped the table in defeat and mucked to let Kozenkova scoop the pot without having to show her cards.

Voziyanov Caught Bluffing

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Egor Sukhov took a chunk out of the stack of Boris Kitov and the latter made up for it with a hero-call against Artem Voziyanov.

The completed board showed {9-Spades}{6-Hearts}{2-Spades}{8-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and Kitov reluctantly check-called a bet of 225,000 by Voziyanov, who tabled {q-Spades}{j-Spades}. Kitov claimed the pot with {j-Clubs}{9-Hearts} for top pair.

Ye Douibles With Aces

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Yi Ye
Yi Ye

Yi Ye raised from under the gun and Giorgiy Skhulukhiya three-bet out of the small blind to 285,000. Ye clicked it back to more than 600,000 and instantly called the shove of Skhulukhiya.

Yi Ye: {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}
Giorgiy Skhulukhiya: {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}

A small rail gathered around the table and saw the board run out {10-Spades}{8-Clubs}{2-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} to let Ye double for 1,045,000.

Dmitry Ponomarev Eliminated in 12th Place (RUB1,059,800)

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Dmitry Ponomarev
Dmitry Ponomarev

Abdul Mamin Abdal Ali Han started the action with a raise to 85,000 and Dmitry Ponomarev moved all-in for 365,000 on the button. Han asked for a count and made the call.

Dmitry Ponomarev: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}
Abdul Mamin Abdal Ali Han: {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

Ponomarev flopped top two pair on {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{10-Spades} and needed to avoid running queens or a jack. A blank {7-Diamonds} came on the turn but the {j-Hearts} river indeed improved Han to the nut straight and sent Ponomarev to the rail in 12th place for RUB1,059,800.

Kozenkova Jams Into Ye

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Lidiya Kozenkova raised to 90,000 first to act and was called by Yi Ye in the big blind. Ye checked the {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{j-Hearts} flop and called a continuation bet of 150,000 to see the {4-Diamonds} appear on the turn. Ye checked once more and Kozenkova moved all in for effectively 695,000, as that's what Ye had behind.

Ye carefully counted the remaining chips and folded.

One hand later, Vladislav Petrov raised the button to 85,000 and folded to the shove of Ye in the small blind.
