Thorel's Heater Continues

Level 13 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Vladimir Troyanovskiy was one of the short stacks coming back from the dinner break and he shoved all in for 197,000 in middle position. The action folded around to Jean-Noel Thorel in the big blind who quickly called.

Jean-Noel Thorel: {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Vladimir Troyanovskiy: {5-Spades}{5-Hearts}

The flop of {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{6-Hearts} proved to be safe for Thorel who was just looking to avoid a five. The {9-Hearts} on the turn and the {7-Clubs} on the river changed nothing and Troyanovskiy headed for the exit.

Level 12 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Timothy Adams
Timothy Adams

Three players saw a flop for 30,000 apiece and the dealer fanned {j-Clubs}{8-Spades}{7-Clubs} across the felt. Vladimir Troyanovskiy started with a check from the small blind and Jean-Noel Thorel bet 75,000 in middle position. Timothy Adams called on his left and Troyanovskiy folded.

The turn was the {q-Clubs} and Thorel dropped in a bet of 350,000. Adams thought for a moment before shoving all in for around 560,000. Thorel quickly called and the cards were tabled. Adams showed {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts} for two pair but Thorel flopped a straight with {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}. The river was the {4-Hearts} and Adams was eliminated.

Good Game Kenney

Level 12 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Bryn Kenney
Bryn Kenney

Bryn Kenney was the shortest stack in the room at the two table redraw and he pushed all in for 101,000 in middle position. Adrian Mateos just called on his left and the rest of the table folded.

Adrian Mateos: {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}
Bryn Kenney: {k-Clubs}{9-Hearts}

The flop came {a-Hearts}{9-Spades}{7-Spades} to give Kenney a pair of nines but he was still trailing the jacks of Mateos. The {8-Hearts} on the turn and the {4-Clubs} on the river couldn't help Kenney who was eliminated.

Adams and Davies Dip in the Tank

Level 12 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

The action folded around to Timothy Adams in the small blind who made it 50,000 to go. Seth Davies called from the big blind and the flop fell {k-Spades}{10-Hearts}{5-Spades}. Adams continued for 70,000 and Davies called to see the {6-Clubs} on the turn.

Both players tapped the table and the {2-Hearts} completed the board. Adams made a small bet of 25,000 and Davies used up two time extensions before announcing a raise to 225,000. Adams burned through two time extensions of his own and ultimately ended up folding.

Another Pot for Lim

Level 12 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Jean-Noel Thorel raised to 25,000 in the hijack and was called by Chin Wei Lim on the button and Sam Greenwood in the big blind. The flop came {k-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{2-Spades} and the action checked around to the {a-Spades} on the turn.

The action checked to Lim who bet 40,000 which got Greenwood to fold but Thorel called. The river was the {8-Diamonds} and Thorel check-called another bet of 85,000. Lim turned over {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} and Thorel mucked his cards. After an earlier double up, Lim has now picked up a few more chips to climb from the short stack.
