Quads for O'Grady

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Giorgiy Skhulukhiya limped in from the small blind and Michael O'Grady raised to 92,000, keeping 1,000 behind. Skhulukhiya shoved and O'Grady put in the extra 1,000 for the call.

Michael O'Grady: {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}
Giorgiy Skhulukhiya: {4-Hearts}{4-Clubs}

The flop came {2-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} to give O'Grady the higher two pair.

The turn was the {8-Spades} for O'Grady to improve to a full house and secure the double-up.

The river completed the board with the {8-Clubs} to give O'Grady quads to make it an even prettier picture.

Gieles Falls to Livshitz, Baumann Knocks Out Krieger

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Two coin flips at the adjacent tables 1 and 2 happened at the same time and spelled the end for two players. First to go was Dutchman Pim Gielis, who shoved all in for 140,000 on the button after Dan Serban Borlan had raised from middle position.

Gaby Livshitz came over the top from the small blind and Borlan folded.

Pim Gieles: {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Gaby Livshitz: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}

Livshitz held on an {8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} board to send Gielis packing. Meanwhile, on Table 6, Baumann had called off Krieger's shove for 104,000 total.

Sven Krieger: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Gaelle Baumann: {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}

The {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}{2-Spades} flop was perfect for Krieger but the {9-Spades} on the turn drew an "oof" from table mate Michael Soyza, as Baumann locked it up on the spot. The river was the {10-Spades} and Krieger followed Gieles to the payout desk.

Triple Up for Boelling

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Hariton Tonchev raised to 12,000 from under the gun and Andreas Boelling three-bet to 28,000 from one seat over. Sorin Flutur jammed out of the big blind and both Tonchev and Boelling called all-in.

Andreas Boelling: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}
Hariton Tonchev: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Sorin Flutur: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}

The board came {9-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} and Boelling tripled up while Tonchev was left with a mountain to climb.

Tonchev was all-in for 22,000 from the big blind the next hand and button raiser Giuseppe Zarbo looked him up.

Hariton Tonchev: {k-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
Giuseppe Zarbo: {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}

The {k-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{3-Spades}{a-Hearts}{7-Spades} board kept Tonchev in the running for now.

With the hand already at showdown, Fidan Zahiti had {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs} open in front of him with a king-high board out there. Steve O'Dwyer's hand was already face-down in the muck.

After paying off Zahiti's 64,000 river bet, O'Dwyer was left with just 86,000.

In a hand that lasted a few minutes into the break there was 150,000 in the middle and the turn showed {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}. Aleksandr Sheshukov was all in for 137,000 and Sebastian Sorensson quickly called.

Sheshukov tabled the {k-Spades}{8-Spades} and was trailing the {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} of Sorensson. However, the {8-Hearts} fell on the river to leave Sorensson behind short-stacked.
