Bogdanov Pulls Pustina Under a Milly

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Vlastimil Pustina, enjoying a comfortable chip lead earlier today, has been reeled in from the top by Bogdanov to surrender the top spot. It was Pustina who opened the action, Bogdanov who three-bet to 65,000 to his left and Pustina who called.

Pustina check-called 50,000 on the {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop but folded to a second barrel on the {4-Diamonds} turn and got overtaken by the Russian in the process.

Voinea Eliminated by Kisacikoglu

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Ionut Voinea
Ionut Voinea

Ionut Voinea moved all in for the last 67,000 on the button and Orpen Kisacikoglu reshoved out of the small blind to isolate successfully.

Ionut Voinea: {a-Spades}{2-Spades}
Orpen Kisacikoglu: {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

The kicker would play a crucial role on the {j-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{6-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} board as Voinea became the next casualty in the penultimate level of Day 3.

Livshitz Hits the River to Bust Mokrani

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Gaby Livshitz
Gaby Livshitz

Mohamed Mokrani raised to 20,000 from the early position and Gaby Livshitz three-bet to 63,000 in the hijack. Action folded back to Mokrai who four-bet to 145,000. Livshitz responded with a shove with the bigger stack and Mokrani snap-called.

Mohamed Mokrani: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}
Gaby Livshitz: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

The flop came {j-Spades}{10-Spades}{8-Diamonds} for Livshitz to pick up the gutshot to a Broadway.

The turn was the {4-Hearts} which kept Mokrani ahead but the river completed the board with the {q-Hearts} for Livshitz to eliminate Mokrani.

"Guys! Don't go all-in against me. It's not good for you!" Livshitz warned his opponents at the table.

Sammartino Sick After Set Over Set

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Dario Sammartino
Dario Sammartino

Dario Sammartino opened pre-flop and another player three-bet. Victor Bogdanov cold-called on the button, as did Sammartino.

The {j-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{7-Hearts} flop checked to Bogdanov who bet and Sammartino was the only caller. The pair checked the {3-Spades} turn and the river was the {k-Spades}.

Sammartino bet pot and Bogdanov raised all in. The Italian called for 50,000 more with {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} for a set of sevens, but Bogdanov had rivered a set of kings with {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} to send a visibly disgusted Italian to the rail.

Theobald Runs Into Aces

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Paul Theobald moved all in from under the gun for what appeared to be 155,000. The action folded all the way to Erdal Gulseven in the big blind and he peeked at his cards, then snap-called right after.

Paul Theobald: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}
Erdal Gulseven: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}

Theobald could all but sigh while Gulseven immediately said "first time aces."

On a board of {q-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}, Theobald found no help and was sent to the payout desk in 59th place.

Teisseire Eliminated by Fast on Feature

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Antonin Teisseire moved all in for 62,000 from the hijack and Dietrich Fast called in the big blind.

Dietrich Fast: {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Antonin Teisseire: {a-Clubs}{5-Hearts}

The Frenchman picked up no help on the {q-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{10-Spades} flop. The {k-Diamonds} left him with just two outs and the {3-Spades} wasn't one of them as he was eliminated.

Kovtunov Runs Into a Set

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Glib Kovtunov
Glib Kovtunov

Bart Lybaert limped in from under the gun and Glib Kovtunov raised it up to 45,000 from the cutoff. Morten Hvam flat-called out of the small blind and Lybaert came along to see the {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} flop. Once Hvam had checked, Lybaert bet 50,000 and Kovtunov moved all in.

Hvam asked for a count and the shove was deemed to be for 327,000. Hvam went all in over the top after some consideration and Lybaert reluctantly folded.

Glib Kovtunov: {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}
Morten Hvam: {8-Spades}{8-Clubs}

The {2-Clubs} turn and {9-Clubs} river failed to improve Kovtunov and he exited in 58th place.

"I had king queen of hearts, close one," Lybaert mentioned in table chat after the hand was over.

Quads for Egermann

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Action was on a {q-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{9-Spades}{q-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} river with Stefan Egermann and Roman Herold having amassed a pot of 180,000.

Egermann overbet jammed for 214,000 and Herold thought for a moment before calling.

Egermann showed {q-Hearts}{q-Spades} for quad queens and Herold was forced to show {a-Hearts}{6-Spades} for aces full and Egermann doubled up.
