Lahmani Eliminated by Calamusa

Level 16 : 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Oshri Lahmani was all-in with the {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs} and Pierre Calamusa looked him up with the {k-Spades}{k-Hearts} as the cards were already on their backs.

Lahmani was trying to muck his cards on the {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} turn but had two outs with an ace. The river was the blank {10-Spades} and that spelled the end for Lahmani.

"What did you fold?" Calamusa asked Ricardo Da Rocha in the one seat, who replied with "a good hand."

"Jack six?" Calamusa followed up and Da Rocha joked back "not that good."

Marsh Marched into the Chip Lead

Level 16 : 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Luke Marsh
Luke Marsh

Joao Mestre Ferreira raised to 11,000 from the early position and Luke Marsh three-bet to 33,000 in the cutoff while the rest of the table folded. Ferreira responded with a four-bet to 88,000 which Marsh called.

They both checked through the {9-Hearts}{q-Spades}{10-Clubs} flop to the {3-Diamonds} on the turn. Ferreira bet 115,000 and Marsh called.

The river completed the board with the {9-Clubs} and Ferreira tanked, using a time bank card, and then decided to shove for around 230,000. Marsh snap-called with {j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for trip nines. Ferreira held {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} for two pair which wasn't enough and he was sent to the rail as Marsh had him covered.

Level 16 : 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Antonin Teisseire was all-in for 49,000 with the {a-Hearts}{10-Spades} and Raymond Hibert called out of the big blind with the {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}. The {q-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop all but sealed the fate for Teisseire and he was on his way out but hit runner-runner perfect on {j-Diamonds} turn and {k-Spades} river.

One table over, Niklas Lehnert-Rappel was less fortunate and hit the rail.

Gaelle Baumann

In a blind-on-blind confrontation, Aliaksei Boika checked to Gaelle Baumann on a {5-Spades}{4-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop. Baumann bet 28,000 and Boika called.

The river brought another {a-Spades} and Boika checked a third time. Baumann moved all in for 165,000 and Boika, having 137,000 left, was put to the test for all the marbles. He took the better part of two minutes before slowly sliding his hand towards the muck.

Yehuda Cohen
Yehuda Cohen

Chip leader Roman Herold opened to 11,000 on the button and Yehuda "chiKKita banAAna" Cohen three-bet to 31,000 in the small blind. Herold used a time bank before calling.

The flop was {9-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} and Cohen continued for 30,000. Herold called.

The turn was the {10-Hearts} and this time Cohen checked, but snap-called the 25,000 bet from Herold. The river was the {5-Spades} and Cohen checked again and Herold announced all in.

Cohen used a time bank and 15 seconds more before open-folding {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}.

"Show the bluff," said Cohen, but Herold mucked face down and extended his chip lead.

Pobal Doubles, Krawinski Falls

Level 16 : 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Jakub Krawinski
Jakub Krawinski

All-in and calls are happening all over the place and after two of them happened in quick succession, the field was down one player. First up was Mikalai Pobal who held {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} against Andrea Dato's {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}, and the best hand held up on a {10-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} board.

Jakub Krawinski was less fortunate: going for it with the {a-Clubs}{8-Spades} and very few chips, he ran into Vitaly Karavyan's {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}. Karavyan also didn't have much but did cover Krawinsky, and eliminated the latter with eas4e on a {q-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{10-Hearts} board.

Dario Sammartino
Dario Sammartino

Dario Sammartino raised to 12,000 from the early position and Mikalai Pobal three-bet to 39,000 in the hijack. Action folded back to Sammartino who glanced at Pobal's stack before making the call.

The flop came {4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{3-Spades} and Sammartino checked. Pobal continued with a bet of 23,000 which Sammartino called.

The turn brought them the {5-Clubs} and both players checked to then proceed to do the same on the {k-Spades} on the river. Pobal tabled {a-Spades}{q-Clubs} but Sammartino held {9-Spades}{9-Clubs} for two pair to scoop the pot.
