Calderone Sees Off Carrel

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante
Charlie Carrel
Charlie Carrel

Charlie Carrel got the remainder of his short stack in on the {10-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{6-Hearts} and was snap called by Eros Calderone.

Carrel tabled his {5-Hearts}{3-Hearts} for a flush, however Calderone had him crushed with his {j-Hearts}{8-Hearts}.

Sitbon Doubles Through Colillas

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante
Ramon Colillas
Ramon Colillas

Picking action up on a turn board reading {4-Spades}{7-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}, Julien Sitbon check-called a bet of 2,700 from Ramon Colillas.

After the {a-Diamonds} fell on the river, Sitbon checked again, and this time faced an all-in bet from Colillas of 11,000. Sitbon made the call with his tournament life at stake.

Colillas showed {j-Diamonds}{9-Spades} for jack-high with a missed straight draw. Sitbon showed {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}, for a flopped top pair which held up until the end.

Guilbert Gets an Elimination

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante
Ezequiel Waigel
Ezequiel Waigel

Ezequiel Waigel opened to 1,500 from the cutoff with Bahadir Hatipoglu calling from the button. Johan Guilbert three-bet to 9,000 from the big blind and Waigel immediately moved all-in for around 35,000. Hatipoglu folded and Guilbert snap-called.

"Oops." said Waigel.

Ezequiel Waigel: {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Johan Guilbert: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}

Guilbert's superior ace would knock Waigel out after the {9-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{5-Hearts} runout.

Kulcsar Eliminates Ivarsson

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante

Alexander Ivarsson raised in the cutoff to 1,200 and got three-bet by Gergely Kulcsar in the big blind to 4,500. Ivarsson then moved all in for about 20,000 and got called by Kulcsar.

Alexander Ivarsson: {3-Clubs}{3-Spades}
Gergely Kulcsar: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}

The dealer quickly brought help to Kulcsar with the {k-Spades}{j-Clubs}{4-Spades} flop.

The {4-Hearts} on the turn and the {5-Spades} on the river couldn't save Ivarsson, who will have to pony up another €10,000 if he chooses to re-enter the tournament.

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante

Alexandre Vuilleumier opened to 1,200 from the cutoff before Adam Bonham made it 6,600 from the small blind. Vuilleumier responded with a four-bet to 15,000 and then Bonham moved all-in for 45,000.

Vuilleumier grimaced but put in the call to set up a classic race.

Adam Bonham: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Alexandre Vuilleumier: {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}

There was an ace in the window but Vuilleumier remained in front after the {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{6-Spades} flop. The {10-Hearts} turn brought in a sweat but Bonham was bust after the {2-Clubs} river.

Ricci bet 5,000 and then it was Dzivielevski's to put more money into the pot. He made it 12,000 to go which Ricci called.

The Brazilian then moved all-in on the {9-Clubs} river. Ricci asked for a count but opted to fold before using any of his time bank cards.
