Shashikhina Gets River Shove Through

Sonia-Veronika Shashikhina raised to 600 and Radoslav Stoyanov called from the button. Grzegorz Idziak tossed in chips to call from the big blind and the flop was {6-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{7-Spades}.

Idziak checked and Shashikhina bet 800. Stoyanov got out of the way and Idziak called to see {a-Spades} on the turn.

Idziak checked the turn and Shashikhina continued for 3,300. After a few moments of thought, Idziak called and the river was {5-Diamonds}.

It was check again on the river for Idziak and Shashikhina shoved her last 10,200. Idziak went deep into the tank for several minutes and unsuccessfully attempted to glean information, but ultimately it was a fold from the big blind.

Shashikhina picked up the pot to get back near the starting stack after an early setback.

Rens Feenstra raised to 500 from the button and was called by Jamie Nixon on the button and the players in the blinds.

The flop came down with the {a-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{7-Clubs}, it was checked to Feenstra who continued with a bet of 800 which only Nixon called.

They both checked through the {8-Diamonds} on the turn to the {3-Hearts} on the river. Feenstra took a few beats before putting a bet of 1,200 out for Nixon to fold.

Thomas Muehloecker raised to 300 from the button at the end of the previous level for Hossein Madani to three-bet to 1,100 in the small blind. The big blind folded and Muehloecker made the call.

The flop came {9-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}, Madani continued with a bet of 600 for Muehloecker to raise it up to 2,500 and got called.

The turn was the {4-Hearts} and Madani check-called the 2,500 bet of Muehloecker.

The {10-Diamonds} completed the board and Madani took back the initiative by betting 3,500. Muehloecker contemplated it for a bit and then just made the call. Madani tabled the {k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} for two pair, kings and tens, but Muehloecker held the {q-Hearts}{j-Clubs} for the straight and the pot.

Marquez Folds to Big River Bet

With a growing pot of 15,000 and {7-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{9-Hearts} on the board, Ana Marquez checked and Bruno Lopes bet 10,000. After a few moments in the tank, Marquez got away from it and Lopes took the pot.

Despite giving up the pot, the stack of Marquez is moving in the right direction on Day 1b.
