Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

In the second hand coming back from the break, Grzegorz Glowny limped the small blind. Andrea Cortellazzi raised it up to 150,000 and Glowny called.

Both headed to the {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}{4-Spades} flop on which Glowny checked and subsequently called a bet worth 150,000 by Cortellazzi. The {2-Hearts} turn and the {q-Spades} river were then checked down and Glowny tabled the {k-Hearts}{7-Hearts}. Cortellazzi had that beat with the {k-Spades}{j-Clubs} to win the pot.

Paul Tedeschi Eliminated in 17th Place (€45,540)

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Paul Tedeschi
Paul Tedeschi

Paul Tedeschi raised to 500,000 in the cutoff and left himself just 10,000 behind. Grzegorz Glowny then moved all-in with the covering stack on the button and the blinds got out of the way. Tedeschi called it off and the following cards were tabled.

Paul Tedeschi: {a-Spades}{9-Diamonds}
Grzegorz Glowny: {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}

The {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{8-Spades} flop left Tedeschi in dire shape and his elimination was confirmed when the {5-Clubs} followed on the turn. This made the {9-Spades} river a formality and the Frenchman bowed out in 17th place for €45,540. All remaining 16 players are now bagging and tagging their chips.

Full chip counts and a recap of today's action are to follow.
