Day 1b of the Eureka €1,100 Main Event has come to close, with 56 players advancing to Tuesday’s, March 8, Day 2. The second starting flight saw a total of 374 entries, boosting the current total to 1,068.
There’s is already a whopping €1,219,200 in the prizepool with Days 1c and 1d still to play.
The Netherlands' Daniel Lakerveld bagged best and takes a stack of 530,000 into the next stage. WSOP Bracelet winner Dominik Panka and Tamer Ibrahim round out the top three chip stacks.
Other notables who made it through include Masato Yokosawa, Marius Gicovanu and Fausto Tantillo.
Each player that advances to Day 2 will lock up a min-cash and that figure will be determined upon the completion of the remaining Day 1 flights.
It wasn’t sunshine and rainbows for all participants. The likes of Jack Sinclair, Tom Vogelsang, Patrick Leonard and Vivian Saliba will have to try again to make it over the first hurdle.
