Patrik Antonius

Patrik Antonius opened to 1,000 from under the gun and Sirzat Hissou defended the big blind.

The flop fell {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{9-Spades}, Hissou check-called for 1,000, and both players checked the {a-Spades} turn.

The {9-Hearts} completed the board and Hissou led out for 3,500. Antonius then raised to 10,500, and Hissou folded to concede the pot to the Finn.

Michael Addamo has proven to be one of the top crushers on the poker high roller scene, so PokerNews spent an orbit with the Australian.

Hand #1 (Big Blind): Sven Andersson opened to 800 on the button and Mikita Badziakouski flat-called in the small blind. Addamo three-bet to 4,500 and both opponents folded to win Addamo the pot.

Hand #2: (Small Blind): Artur Martirosian raised to 900 in early position and Addamo folded when the action folded around.

Hand #3: (Button): Andersson opened to 900 from the hijack and Addamo flat-called on the button, while Motoyoshi Okamura also came along from the big blind. Okamura checked on the flop of {k-Spades}{6-Spades}{k-Diamonds} and Andersson continued for 800. Addamo folded.

Hand #4: (Cutoff): The action folded around to Addamo and he also folded.

Hand #5 (Hijack): The action again folded to Addamo and he followed suit.

Hand #6: (Late Position): Addamo raised to 800 when the action folded around and the rest of the table folded to earn Addamo the pot without a fight.

Kisacikoglu Takes from Heath

Level 4 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

Ben Heath opened to 800 from middle position and Kahle Burns flat-called on the button, while Orpen Kisacikoglu also called from the small blind.

Kisacikoglu checked on the flop of {10-Spades}{8-Spades}{q-Hearts} and Heath continued with a bet of 800. Burns folded, while Kisacikoglu check-raised to 5,800. Heath called.

Kisacikoglu bet 10,000 on the {3-Hearts} turn and Heath called. Kisacikoglu then bet 22,100 on the {10-Clubs} river and Heath used through three time extensions before making the call.

Kisacikoglu showed {j-Spades}{9-Spades} for a flopped straight and four-fifths of a straight flush and Heath mucked.

"Above-average flop," commented Joris Ruijs to the left of Kisacikoglu.

Benitez Finds Call Against Adams

Level 4 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante
Francisco Benitez
Francisco Benitez

Francisco Benitez won the €10,200 Mystery Bounty just yesterday and is already off to a hot start today with nearly twice the starting stack.

In a bloated pot on a {9-Spades}{7-Spades}{7-Clubs}{q-Spades}{5-Diamonds} completed board, Timothy Adams bet 22,000 in the cutoff, leaving himself just a single T-100 chip behind. Benitez deliberated for some time and used a few time extensions before ultimately putting in the chips.

Adams mucked his cards face down in defeat, and Benitez also left his cards a mystery as he didn't even need to table a hand to collect the pot. Adams lost his last chip on the next hand and re-entered shortly after to receive a fresh starting stack.
