Laudicina Faced With a Tough Decision

Level 15 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Dumitru Adrian Pora opened the action to 6,000 from early position and it folded to Christian Beuthe in the small blind who made the call. Alexandra Laudicina was next to act and elected on a three-bet to 18,500 from the big blind.

Pora quickly jammed his stack of 67,500 total in the middle. Beuthe took a minute before deciding to fold and Laudicina went deep in the tank. After several minutes went by the clock was called by another player at the table and Laudicina had 60-seconds to act.

"I have a pocket pair you know, is that any good?", asked Laudicina hoping to get a read off her opponent. At the end of the countdown, Laudicina elected to fold {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts} face up and Pora was friendly enough to show {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} as he scooped in the pot.

Sousa Helps Narrow the Field

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Juan Alberto Lucena moved all in for 45,000 on the button and Rui Sousa in the small blind snap-called as the rest of the table got out of the way.

Juan Alberto Lucena: {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Rui Sousa: {4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}

Lucena was left drawing to runner-runner when the {q-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{8-Spades} flop gave Sousa a set. The {k-Clubs} on the turn gave Lucena some hope with a straight draw, but he missed the {9-Diamonds} river to hit the rail.

Toledano Moreno Gets Dicu Off an Ace

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Marian Dicu raised to 7,000 from middle position and was called by Valeriano Toledano Moreno in the hijack.

The flop came {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}{j-Spades} and Dicu checked over to Toledano Moreno, who bet 10,000. Dicu called as they saw the {9-Spades} fall on the turn.

Dicu checked once again, then called when Toledano Moreno bet another 33,000. The river came the {8-Hearts} and Toledano Moreno shoved all in.

Dicu, with around 45,000 remaining, went into the tank for several minutes before mucking {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}. Toledano Moreno returned his cards face down as he took in the pot.

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Niclas Mjelstad raised all in from the big blind and Seun Oluwole re-shoved a slightly smaller stack of 60,500 from early position to get the hand heads-up.

Seun Oluwole: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
Niclas Mjelstad: {k-Spades}{10-Spades}

Lightborne Takes it with Bottom Pair

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

On a flop of {k-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{10-Spades}, Faustus Korn bet 10k into an already sizeable pot, but then Iaron Lightbourne three-bet him to to 32,500.

Korn went deep into the tank, long enough for Lightbourne to call the clock on him and he was given a 30-second countdown.

As the timer neared zero, Korn had still not made a decision and his cards were automatically folded when he ran out of time.

Lightbourne then showed {a-Clubs}{3-Spades} for just bottom pair as he raked in the pot.

Le Vaillant Clocks Himself

Level 13 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

In a blind versus blind battle, Seeiar Noran bet 20,000 on a board of {a-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} as action was on Alexandre Le Vaillant in the big blind.

Le Vaillant cut a pile of chips out of his stack as he considered the decision for several minutes. He eventually called the clock on himself and mucked as the countdown approached zero.

"Show the bluff," he told Noran, who turned over {10-Clubs}{3-Spades}. Le Vaillant showed he folded {9-}{7-}.

"That's my range," Noran replied. "Thanks for calling the clock. I would've called for sure."
