Chivas Gets Value on River

There was around 80,000 in the pot heads-up going to the {7-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{3-Clubs}.

Gabriel Chivas was under the gun and continued for 20,000 when checked to by Glenn Marcher in the big blind. Marcher called.

Action checked through on the {6-Diamonds} turn.

The river was the {10-Diamonds} and Marcher checked to Chivas. Chivas bet 35,000 in which Marcher went deep into the tank. Eventually he called. Chivas showed {10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} for a rivered two pair to take down the pot as Marcher mucked. Marcher said after the hand that he had ace-seven for two pair also.

Haghgou Keeps the Pressure On

The board read {k-Spades}{4-Spades}{a-Hearts}{5-Spades} on the turn. From early position, Seyed Haghgou bet 75,000 which was called by Michele Guerrini who was under the gun.

The river came the {2-Hearts}. Haghgou fired again, this time for 95,000 into a pot of about 200,000. Guerrini frowned a bit before he folded his cards and Haghgou gathered another pot.

Action was caught as it was headed to the turn as both Paulo Rodrigues and Nikita Luther both committed chips on a flop of {2-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{k-Clubs}. The turn paired the board as the {k-Spades} came off.

From the button Nikita Luther bet 77,000 which Paulo Rodrigues called in the big blind.

The river was the {10-Hearts}. Both players checked. Rodrigues showed the {3-Hearts}{2-Hearts} for flopped two-pair that had become much less valuable on the turn and Luther showed her winning pocket pair the {6-Clubs}{6-Hearts} to add more chips to her growing stack.

Polack Punishes Bitton

Level 20 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Samuel Polack was in position in a heads-up pot against Jonathan Bitton and had bet the flop and turn to get to a board of {j-Hearts}{6-Spades}{8-Spades}{5-Hearts}{8-Hearts}.

Bitton checked the river and Polack unloaded the clip by moving all in with Bitton covered. Bitton went deep into the tank and considered calling off with his final 260,000. Someone called the clock and Bitton made the call shortly after.

Polack tabled {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs} for top pair and Bitton shook his head as he showed {j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} for the same pair with a worse kicker to mark his elimination.

Amri Squashes Two Opponents With Two Pair

Level 20 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Action was joined on a flop reading {6-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}. Three players were in a hand as Jacques Der Megreditchian bet 21,000 from the cutoff. Boris Kuzmanovic called on the button. Naim Amri raised to 59,000 from the big blind and both of his opponents called.

The turn was the {3-Spades}. Amri led out for 120,000, Der Megreditchian shoved all in, Kuzmanovic also went all in for slightly more and Amri called as the biggest of the three stacks.
