Tkaczyk Gets Double Knockout

Level 20 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Adrian Tkaczyk
Adrian Tkaczyk

Cards were on their backs in a three-way all in situation. Tommy Beuker was in early position while Adrian Lozano Ayala was on the button. Adrian Tkaczyk had them both covered from the small blind.

Tommy Beuker: {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Adrian Lozano Ayala: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Adrian Tkaczyk: {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}

Tkaczyk had the pocket pair and had to fade the overcards from both opponents. The flop came {9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{5-Spades} which put Tkaczyk in a good position to score the double knockout. The double knockout came as the {8-Hearts} was the turn and the river was the {2-Diamonds} which gave Tkaczyk more chips than he could count.

An Orbit of Folds from Kanit

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

PokerNews stuck around Table 8 to watch Italian pro Mustapha Kanit in action. Anyone who takes poker seriously knows that it's a game of mainly folding, something that was well-demonstrated during this orbit.

Hand #1 (Cutoff): Action folded to Kanit and he followed suit.

Hand #2 (Hijack): Daniel Pujol opened to 25,000 from under the gun and Kanit folded when the action got to him.

Hand #3 (Middle Position): Action folded to Kanit and he open-jammed a stack of around 150,000. Everyone folded.

Hand #4 (Early Position): Action folded to Kanit and he also folded.

Hand #5 (Under the Gun): Kanit was first to act and folded.

Hand #6 (Big Blind): Boris Kuzmanovic raised from the hijack and Kanit folded.

Hand #7 (Small Blind): Mustafa Biz opened to 25,000 on the button and Kanit folded.

Hand #8 (Button): The hijack opened to 30,000 and Kanit folded.

Hardcastle Overbet Shoves Turn

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

There was approximately 130,000 in the pot. Jack Hardcastle was in hijack against Fahd Kaabat in the big blind.

The board was {j-Spades}{10-Hearts}{4-Spades}{5-Spades} and Kaabat checked to Hardcastle on the turn. Hardcastle moved all in for 150,000, which was bigger than the size of the pot, in which Kaabat folded.

Chino Rheem

The board read {j-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} on the turn. From under the gun, Stan Oldak bet 60,000 into a pot of about 140,000. Chino Rheem was in the big blind and he quickly raised it up to 175,000.

Oldak three-bet jammed which prompted an immediate fold from Rheem as he relinquished a few chips as a result of the raise.

Abitbol Eliminates Caciolo in Flip

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Giuseppe Caciolo moved all-in for 86,000 from under the gun. Action folded around to Raphael Abitbol on the button who asked for a count before making the call. The blinds folded.

Giuseppe Caciolo: {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}
Raphael Abitbol: {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts}

It was a flip as Caciolo's pocket pair was up against Abitbol's overcards. The flop came {j-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} which put Caciolo way ahead. However the turn came the {8-Spades} which had Caciolo drawing to two outs. The outs didn't come as the river came the {a-Spades} which gave Abitbol two pair to eliminate Caciolo from the tournament.
