Margolin Loses Consecutive Hands

Timur Margolin, in the big blind, first called a 3,200 open by David Habel from early position.

Habel called Margolin's 2,600 bet on the 4♠2♠6♥ flop.

After Margolin checked, Habel led out for 4,000 on the 9♠ turn and was called.

The river came a K♥, and Margolin checked before facing a 7,000 bet from Habel. After verbally speculating that he was up against a flush, the Icelander folded.

The very next hand, Margolin was in the action once again.

While in the small blind, he called a preflop shove from late position by Leonardo Silva.

The flip went against Margolin, with the board running out 8♥7♠2♣K♠J♣, leaving him with just 17,100.

Jason Wheeler was under the gun and bet out for 2,300. Victor Pahon, on the button, raised to 11,000 and Wheeler went into the tank.

After some time, Wheeler tossed his cards to the muck and Pahon won this pot without a showdown.

Vladimir Lipnitskii opened to 2,500 in early position and Ignacio Repetto defended out of the big blind.

Repetto checked on the flop of 8♣10♣A♣ and Lipnitskii continued for 2,500. Repetto check-raised to 9,600 and Lipnitskii called. Repetto then bet just 1,700 on the 5♣ turn and Lipnitskii called.

The 7♥ river completed the board and Repetto took some time before checking. Lipnitskii bet 12,000 and Repetto laid it down.

Wuai-Cheng Tsang opened to 2,600 from the hijack and received calls from Sandro Sinopoli on the button and Constantin Visan in the big blind.

The flop came 9♥4♣3♥ and action checked around to Sinopoli, who bet 2,300 in position. Both Visan and Sinopoli made the call.

Action checked back around to Sinopoli again on the 7♦ turn and he elected to bet 6,000. Visan made the call before Tsang moved all in, covering both players. Both opponents mucked their hands and Tsang collected a decent pot without having to go to showdown.

The pot stood at approximately 10,000 with two players looking at a board that read 3♦8♦2♦. Under the gun was Dylan Sweeney who checked the action over to Ilija Savevski in the hijack. Savevski bet out 4,500 and Sweeney called.

The 8♠ turn checked through to the 9♦ on the turn. Sweeney checked once more and Savevski bet 7,000. Sweeney raised to what looked to be 32,000 and Savevski instantly mucked his cards.

With the board reading A♥J♦2♥ and about 8,000 in the middle, Leonardo Da Silva checked from the cutoff and Tom Holke did the same from the button.

Both players once again checked the 7♥ turn, leading to the 9♥ river. Da Silva bet 1,500 and Holke put in a raise to 6,000. Da Silva did not take long before making the call.

Holke showed down K♠Q♠ for just king-high while Da Silva tabled A♣6♥ for a small flush to take the pot.

The flop of 3♠K♥A♣ checked through to the 5♦ on the turn. Robert continued for 4,500 and Pezzotta called.

The river fell the Q♦ and Robert sized up to 35,000. Pezzotta made a quick call only to be shown the bad news; Robert tabled J♥10♣ having rivered the nut straight.
