Dramatic Runout Sends Batlle to the Rail

The pot stood at 17,500 with three players looking at a board that read 1067.

Azedine Bendjilali in the big blind checked the action to Ladislao Dalfo Batlle in the hijack. Batlle bet out 4,000, Marc Poustis in the cutoff called and Bendjilali, the covering stack, raised enough to both both his opponents all in.

Batlle called and Poustis got out of the way.

Boyle Moves Among Chip Leaders

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Justin Boyle opened from under the gun to 2,000, but saw his bet raised to 5,600 by Dylan Herklots in the cutoff. The Irishman called and it went to the flop.

It ran out 54A, and Boyle slowed down with a check, but quickly called when Herklots bet 5,500.

Boyle then applied the pressure as the Q came on the turn, betting 13,000.

Herklots folded, giving Boyle the pot and propelling him among the flight's chip leaders.

Balogh Misses the River, Scarcella Earns a Knockout

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Heads-up on a board of 9342, Timo Scarcella bet 5,000 from the big blind before Andras Balogh, in early position, moved all in for around 15,000 more.

Scarcella snap-called with 99 for a set, while Balogh turned over AQ for the nut flush draw and a straight draw. He needed to hit to stay alive, but the river came the K as Balogh missed everything and headed for the rail.

Check-Raise Wins It For Gorgolas

Marco Conti opened to 2,000 in middle position and the cutoff and Javier Gorgolas in the small blind both called before Oglu Emil three-bet to 5,000 in the big blind. Only Conti and Gorgolas called.

Gorgolas checked on the flop of 738 and Emil continued for 6,000. Conti called and Gorgolas check-raised to 21,000, leading both his opponents to fold.

Thomas Saminadin bet 5,000 from the cutoff on a flop of 8310 before Erik Friberg moved all in for 20,600 in the big blind. Saminadin quickly called.

The player in middle position opened to 2,500, Zihan Cong in the hijack called, as did the button. Emmanouil Asgoudakis in the big blind squeezed to 11,000. The original raiser folded, Cong moved all in for 27,500, the button folded and Asgoudakis called.

"I Had to Go All In"

Nicolas Yunis opened to 2,500 from early position. He got called by Pierre Zerbib and Carlos Leiva in the cutoff and big blind, respectively.

Leiva check-folded when Yunis led out for 3,000 on the A3J flop, while Zerbib made the call.

The Chilean checked the 10 turn and was faced with a bet of 4,500 from Zerbib. Yunis reraised to 9,800 after asking for a count, and got called.

The 6 on the river prompted a quick shove from Yunis, making it 7,900 for Zerbib to call. He didn't, and as he sent his hand into the muck heard Yunis exclaim "I had to go all in."
