Shahar Gets Paid With Big River Bet

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Heads-up on a flop of Q7J, Ran Shahar bet 1,000 from the big blind before Ravi Sheth raised to 3,600 under the gun.

Shahar called to the 5 turn, where he called another bet of 5,100 from Sheth.

The river came the Q and Shahar then led out for 15,000. Sheth asked to see Shahar's remaining stack before he called as Shahar turned over QJ for a full house to win the pot, dropping Sheth to an extreme short stack.

Mayer Catches Sargsyan Bluffing

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Andre Mayer opened to 600 first-to-act and was called by Dorian Machio on the button and Aram Sargsyan in the big blind.

Sargsyan checked to Mayer on the 3Q3 flop and he bet 400. Both Machio and Sargsyan called.

Everyone checked on the 3 turn; however, Sargsyan led out for 1,800 when the Q completed the board. Mayer called, but Machio folded and Sargsyan could only show 76 for a busted flush draw. Mayer tabled 1010 for threes-full of tens and collected the pot.

Kalev Picks Off a Blocker Bluff

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Chung Tran was out of position in a heads-up pot against Tsvetomirov Kalev on a board of 524A7.

Tran checked on the river and Kalev bet 5,200. Tran check-raised to 15,300 and Kalev went in the tank as he considered calling for most of his stack.

Kalev eventually called and Tran turned over A8 for a pair of aces and the nut flush blocker, while Kalev showed J3 for a wheel to win the pot.

Fisher Makes a Massive Call on Gutyi

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Gary Fisher and Mykhailo Gutyi were heads-up on a board of AAKQ7 and already around 15,000 in the middle when Gutyi bet 13,300 from the small blind.

Fisher, on the button, then tanked for several minutes. "Sorry guys," he said.

"No problem," a tablemate said as Fisher implored them to call the clock. One of them eventually did.

"I can beat kings," Fisher told Gutyi before he tossed in the chips to call. Gutyi turned over JJ, but Fisher had AQ for a full house.

"Wow. Big hand," Gutyi said upon seeing Fisher's holdings.

"I thought you had ace-king, the way you were betting. That's why I was tanking," Fisher said as a tablemate admitted he also thought Gutyi had ace-king.

Barnes Takes From Besnainou

Level 1 : 100/100, 100 ante

In a blind-versus-blind situation, Ange Besnainou raised to 200 from the small blind, and Christopher Barnes called in the big blind.

There was no more action on the flop 9310 as both players checked. But on the turn K, when Besnainou checked again, Barnes added 200 chips to the pot. Besnainou quickly called and checked again on the river 3.

Barnes checked back and didn't have to reveal his cards to scoop the pot because Besnainou had thrown his cards into the muck earlier.

Level 1 : Blinds 100/100, 100 ante

Andreas Berggren and Jose Soler were heads-up on a completed board of J42KA and around 7,000 in the pot when Soler bet 2,500 from the cutoff.

Berggren then raised to 9,000 in the hijack, sending Soler deep into the tank. Several minutes elapsed before the clock was eventually called. Soler nearly let the countdown expire before tossing in the chips to call.

Berggren turned over A2 for two pair and that was enough to win the pot as Soler mucked.
