Niste Gets Shovey

Van Marcus raised to 115,000 from under the gun before Mihai Niste, in middle position, three-bet to 600,000 leaving himself just 130,000 behind. Marcus gave up his hand.

A few hands later, Khazret Nebezhev raised to 110,000 on the button and Niste then moved all in for 825,000. Nebezhev also folded.

"Do you play Spin n' Gos? All you know how to do is this," Santiago Plante said to Niste, making a shoving motion.

Niste then raised to 125,000 on the button and Andre Akkari called in the big blind. The flop came 3KQ and Niste won the pot with a bet of 75,000.

Lopes Makes a Hero Call

Level 26 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Simon Wiciak opened to 100,000 from early position with 1010 and Pedro Lopes called from the button with AQ.

Both players checked the J85 flop leading to the 4 on the turn. Wiciak bet 150,000 and was called by Lopes.

On the 4 river Wiciak bet again for 350,000. Lopes put in the call with ace-high only to see the bad news when Wiciak showed down his pocket-tens to take down a healthy pot.

Marcus Plays It Slow

Van Marcus raised to 100,000 in the cutoff and Mathias Duarte defended his big blind.

Both players checked to the river on a board of 1010J27 when Duarte led out for 300,000.

Marcus snap-called and turned over KK for two pair. Duarte's cards quickly hit the muck as Marcus raked in another pot.

"I played it that way so I can call," Marcus said.

Andre Akkari open-jammed a stack of 385,000 form the cutoff and Curtis Knight called in the small blind with a bigger stack.

Akkari was dominated and got no help from the flop of 2510, but the A turn improved his outs by giving him a gutshot. The dealer then put down the J river to give him Broadway and earn the PokerStars Pro a double.

Mifsud Forces a Fold

Simon Wiciak opened to 100,000 from the hijack with K9 and Brandon Mifsud defended from the big blind with KJ.

The flop came J103 and Mifsud checked. Wiciak bet 100,000 and Mifsud put in a check-raise to 275,000. Wiciak made the call.

Mifsud bet 285,000 on the 5 turn and this time Wiciak opted to fold sending a sizable pot in Mifsud's direction.

Four-Bet Jam From Morelli

Samuel Fournier opened to 105,000 on the button and Carl Shaw three-bet to 400,000 in the small blind.

Felipe Morelli then went in the tank from the big blind before four-bet jamming a stack of around 2,500,000. Fournier quickly folded and Shaw followed suit.

Aubakirov Bets Big on the River

Sandor Hadnagy raised to 135,000 from under the gun and Daniyar Aubakirov was the lone caller from the big blind.

The flop was 467 and Aubakirov check-called a 135,000 bet from Hadnagy to see 9 on the turn.

Aubakirov changed gear and fired 185,000 on the turn, but Hadnagy raised to 540,000 and Aubakirov called.

The river was 8 and Aubakirov fired 1,100,000. It was too much for Hadnagy and he tossed his hand away.

Mohamed el Rais opened to 105,000 from under the gun with AQ and received a call from Jose Rodriguez Zurita in the big blind with 108.

Both players checked the J109 flop leading to the 9 on the turn. Zurita check-called a 105,00 delayed continuation bet from El Rais.

Both players checked the Q river. Zurita's rivered straight was good for the winner against the two-pair of El Rais and he took down a decent pot as a result.
